Does this have expandable storage?

The embedded 16GB storage is not expandable, however the microSD slot on the left side is expandable to 128MB.

How much crapware is installed and is it safe to uninstall?

A few small things, but not much.  It doesn't get in the way.  You can't really remove it, though.  I hate most of the stupid stuff vendors installed, but I wasn't annoyed by this.

I asked Lenovo twice now and both times they said yes but the real answer is no its not.  A little disaapointed because I would have waited for the plus that is. It is 802.11 b/g/n the plus is 802.11 a/b/g/n the "a" being the key letter to access 5GHz.

Question 6

Does the Tab 4 8 include Lenovo's AnyPen technology?  I haven't been able to find any references to AnyPen anywhere for this model.

Question 7

I have problems installing micro sd card. Tried several ones. Insists on formatting, but freezes during the formatting process and times out. Has anyone else had this problem?  Is there a specific card that must be used?

I've had no problems with micro SD cards on mine.  I've used a Sandisk Ultra micro SDXC card, 64GB, Class 10 UH1 and a cheap Wintec micro SDHC 32GB UH1 card.
