Yes, it works very well with Linux and that was the primary reason why I chose an AMD graphics card.  For Linux, AMD graphics cards have the advantage of not requiring the proprietary NVIDIA driver in order to get the most out of your hardware.  The open source driver gives you everything you need.  Previously I was using an NVIDIA card, and switching to AMD was easy.  I am using Debian 12, and the open source AMD driver works very well with my Radeon Pro W7500.  I am using it with dual 4k monitors, and I am very satisfied.  Having used both NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards with Linux, I would definitely recommend AMD.

Does this VGA card require additional power connectors?

No, it doesn't require an additional power connector.  I have it plugged into a PCIe slot on my ASRock Z690M PG Riptide/D5 motherboard, and it works great without any auxiliary power connector.  Because of the power efficiency, the card generates little heat and the built-in fan is very quiet.
