Pros: Impressive core, nice overclocker. Already running at 3.0 GHz @ 1.4 volts, multiplier 12 x 252 = 3017.7 MHz. According to cpu z version 1.42. HT Link = 1005.9 MHz, Bus Speed = 251.5 MHz. Memory frecuency 377.2 MHz timings 4,4,4,11,20, 2T (I'm sure still I can go farther). If you are gamer like me, this is your CPU, make sure to disable cool and quiet from bios if you want to overclock this beauty.

Overall Review: Gigabyte GA-M61P-S3 (control + F1 on bios to set up manually memory timings and HT Link). XFX video card 8400 GS 512 MB. 4 X 1GB A-data Extreme Edition. Thermaltake TR2-R1 CPU fan with ARCTIC COOLING Thermal Compound. Thermaltake power supply 430 watts. Centurion cooler master computer case. DVD/RW LG. HD Sata 160 GB. The CPU never goes up to 37C (rigth now 13C, amazing!). 45 Watts energy consume. 1 MB L2. AMD!!! Even it's 90 NM K8, still beats intel single cores. For me, this core show me the AMD superiority over intel. I'll be supporting AMD to the end and building only AMD computers. Get the latest bios version in order to get the cpu description instead AMD unknow model. Enjoy!!

Pros: I bought this chip to place on an Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe mobo. Why you ask? The current Phenoms are not worthy of going on a 790FX mobo. So why pay 280 bucks when I can pay less than fifty for this and overclock. I'll wait for the real phenoms later this year. Until then, i have this baby clocked at 3ghz. runs nice and cool on air. no voltage bump. I can really tell the difference between this and my old opty 165 in performance, but for this price, who can complain.

Pros: Really great chip! 3.2 GHz, stock heatsink & fan, with small voltage bump (1.4v) and a little overclocking. Runs a cool 36C under full load. Prime 95 stable 24 hours, no errors. Great choice for a fast single core budget build. Especially if you’re comfortable with overclocking. A 3.2 GHz chip for around $50, sweet! I got mine when they were $49.99. This chip and a Biostar TForce TF520-A2, 2GB G.Skill DDR2 800, and you have the core components of a great budget pc. I installed Vista Business 64-bit on it & this thing really flies!

Overall Review: I'd just love to have this chip on a really good board, with great cooling, ram, psu, & video card. Would be a fun little pet project. Like to see just how far I could push this baby!

Overall Review: i wanted a cpu with low heat output (45watts), single core, and decent power to run a HTPC/media center. perfect with stock sink and no need to OC.

Pros: I've used these and the 1600 (2.2GHz) in several builds. They're cheap (in a good way), fast, and only use 45W.

Cons: None. Not dual core? Doesn't make me coffee in the morning?

Pros: Bought it with OC in mind. After a few hours fiddling, it's at 3.3ghz with only the stock cooler and a slight voltage bump to 1.3v. A guy on the extremesystems.org forum has one running at 3.8 with moderate V and good cooling.

Cons: No complaints yet!
