If kept at stock clocks can this cpu be used without its cooler?

I don't recommend any CPU be used without a cooler, or at least a heatsink. The temps that are produced by a CPU can most certainly damage itself and other hardware around it. Your PC may stop you before any damage is done, but I wouldn't risk it. So the answer is: You can try, but why would you?

The stock fan comes with pre-applied thermal paste on it. Same goes for all AMD Ryzen CPUs with an included fan.

Does this push any audio through the HDMI?

You motherboard will need to have audio capabilities. If you can plug speakers into it and get sound, you're good. Passing sound over HDMI will not be an issue with this CPU.

Is this good for reheating my coffee?

It is good as a CPU...but with the whole video card integration replacement like it was supposed to do...fell short...still need to have a video card for good games...other then that...it has the same video graphics as what is built into the motherboard.

Does Memory Channel 2  mean it only supports up to 2 sticks of RAM?

No, it means there are two independent memory controllers on the CPU.  It is possible to populate just one memory slot, in which case only one controller is used, but the memory bandwidth will be about half that if both channels are in use. Check the motherboard manual to see which slots should be populated for your memory configuration.

Can I use  3200 Ram right out of the box? if not, what do I need to do?

that will depend on your motherboard, I have this chip and the gigabyte wifi itx board and with a bios update it runs 3200 no problem. hope this helps

i bought this last  month, i put up everything and run to an issue saying "clock watchdog timeout" and sometime it freezes too while im installing the gpu driver. If anyone manage to fix this issue, please share it with me? im a newbie.

did you install all of your motherboard drivers before installing the chipset (AM4) or apu drivers (ryzen 2400g)? If you install these out of order it will cause system stability issues and BSOD. Make sure you are ONLY downloading the drivers provided by your motherboard manufacturer. 
I suggest clean 
~clean install of windows 10 build 1709

~install all motherboard drivers from official website (LAN, USB, Audio, Utilities, ect)

~install AM4 chipset drivers from motherboard website 
   (different from VGA or graphic drivers)

~install VGA drivers (don't get these confused they may seem like the same download but you do need both of them and installed in the right order or one will overwrite the others settings)

install everything in this exact order.
If you do any of these out of order it's going to cause crashes.

will this and a gtx1060 support vr?

I don't know whether or not a 1060 is "enough" for VR, but the Ryzen should be.  Note however that this processor has built in graphics as well, so if you plan on having a 1060 anyways you might be better served by a Ryzen 5 1500X or so.

How well would this work for a teeny tiny work station used mostly for web development?

Quite well indeed. The Radeon GPU section of the 2400G will aid with window scrolling performance and rendering speed. Pick up a nice B450M board from Asrock, Asus, or Gigabyte, 16GB of DDR4-3000 from a good vendor like g.skill or corsair, overspend a bit on a power supply with a good review, like FSP/Fortron Source Power, somewhere in the 500/600 watt range, which will give you stable power and the ability to add a Radeon RX5000+ series GPU card later if you decide to get into gaming. Toss a Samsung 970 EVO 250GB in for your C: boot drive, and pick up something else like a nice 1TB USB3 drive for backups and your other storage needs. This should get you a very well balanced system for the money. Don't bother with the new 3400G or a X570 motherboard; the ~8% performance difference won't be enough to justify the additional cost during the launch period. Pick up a 4400G + B650M about six months after they're released, when they eventually show up in a year or two, you'll be able to reuse the memory and storage. And one last tip -- a backup is only a backup after it's successfully been restored from. Good luck with your build!
