No it does not.  Pair it up with a nice video that will last you longer and you will not need to upgrade.  A lot of people spend enough to get by and then when they want to keep up with new games and other needs buy another video in a couple of years.  Black Friday is coming up.  See if you can pick up a nice NVIDIA 2070.

Yes with the top of the line included cooler, RGB, heat pipes etc. Personally I went with a 240 AIO because the boost voltage on 3800x is high and it wasnt expensive.

X570s pretty much designed for this generation Ryzen. You'll get PCIe 4.0 capabilities, too. So yes, it's great in this motherboard.

Is anybody else having cooling issues?
My 3800x easily blows past 70C on Water in seconds, and will get into the 80’s.
Tested with Corsair H105 (240mm), and an EVGA CLC 280mm (280mm).  This happens in Cinebench R20, and in Prime95, and encoding video using Handbrake.
I have even tried running an under volt (offset -0.093), still runs in the high 80s
Tried an Air cooler, and the heat pipes barley get warm.  This makes me think the heat is not being transferred to the Lid of the package (heat-spreader).

In addition to the other recommendations it is worth noting that the 3700x, 3800x and 3900x CPUs have a 20 degree additive function so that AMD can use one fan cooling scheme for all. So if your CPU is showing 70C it is actually running at 50C. This has been confirmed by AMD.

Yes, in fact, I just left the paste already applied on it. They put good paste on it. I check the temps regularly and run triple A games on it ultra settiongs. Never even got close to overheating even with CPU heavy games.

Which very quiet cooler does anyone recommend for the 3800x?

I personally use a cryorig cooler which is similar to a hyper 212 and it’s pretty quite but water cooling is usually better for sound, but the new motherboards have fans that are really loud, so I recommend being aware of that before buying a cooler that’s too expensive. The built in fans on the x570s are usually louder than your cooler.

At stock with the stock cooler I get about 45c idle avg and 80c load running Cinebench R20.   If you are going to overclock I would recommend aftermarket cooler.

I have a Gigabyte Aorus AX370-Gaming K5 Motherboard and I was wondering if this CPU would work with it? Just wanted to check first, thank you in advance for the help it is appreciated.

yes and no, eventually yes, mostly no, out of the box it will not work until the bios is flashed to the latest version that supports zen 2 which you cant do without a zen or zen+  cpu already on hand. secondly and this is possibly more important x370 will not support zen 3 or any other new cpus past zen 2 so other than possible getting more cores with a x 3900 or x 3950 this is a last cpu you will ever be able to upgrade too.

the 105W pull is for standard use or full max boost?

That 105w is for the TDP, this will be the max heat the CPU can use in wattage.  The power draw will be a lot lower than that.
