The built-in NPU supports motion, person* and sound detection** for recording a video, or triggering an automation. All the features work locally, even without internet.

By activating the Privacy Mode feature in the Aqara Home app, the E1 rotates to your preferred angle, such as facing a wall, and goes to sleep for added privacy.
Mic-Muting Option
In addition, the mic-muting option allows you to disable the microphone, ensuring added privacy by preventing audio capture and transmission when activated.
Custom Ringtones
The E1 offers customizable ringtones. For instance, you can record a 'Camera Off' sound that will play when Privacy Mode is activated.
Advanced Wi-Fi Connectivity
The E1 comes with next-gen Wi-Fi 6, offering higher speed and reduced latency in live viewing, while also supporting WPA3 for enhanced security.
MagicPair Experience
With Bluetooth 5.2 and our new MagicPair feature in Aqara Home, pairing the E1 is now simpler than ever. You can also control the E1 via Bluetooth even without an internet connection.
Local and Cloud Storage
Apart from the encrypted cloud storage options, the E1 also supports local storage with a microSD card of up to 512 GB, and it can be backed up to the SMB 3.0 NAS storage.
USB-C and Multiple Installation Methods
To address sustainability, the E1 uses a USB-C port and doesn’t include an adapter. It offers multiple installation options: horizontal, screw mount, or wall anchors.
