From the pictures it looks like the msata slot is already populated by a Wifi daughterboard, is the Msata availble for use?

The mSata slot is available to use.

The Z87E-ITX has a mini-PCIe slot on the top-side for things like mini-PCIe WIFI cards or video accelerator like the Broadcom Crystal HD.  The board comes with a mini-PCIe WIFI card installed in that slot already.

It also has the PCIe 16x slot on the top-side.

The mSATA slot is on the under-side of the motherboard.

Question 2

Where is the mSATA connection?  Looking at the diagram, I can see the mini PCIe card for the wireless, but no mSata connection.

It is on the bottom of the PCB.
You can do a Google image search for "Asrock Z87E-ITX" to see a picture of a card inserted into the board.
The slot is next to the SATA connectors and PCI-E 16x connector. (directly under the wifi module)

Question 3

When it says it has 2 fan headers, does that mean 1 cpu fan header and 1 case fan, or is it 1 cpu and 2 case fan?

There area two fan headers total- 1 CPU, and 1 chassis. In an effort to make this answer not completely worthless (since the answer to this question can be determined by looking at the provided pictures of the product), I'll also mention that each of these fan headers supports a maximum of 2 amps at 12 volts.  You can grab a PWM Y-splitter cable for a few dollars and run multiple fans off each header, so long as you never exceed that limit.

Is this board 64 bit?

This motherboard does support 64-bit Intel CPUs and the manufacturer does also provide 64-bit Windows drivers in the case you were to install a 64-bit version of Windows such as "Windows 8 x64".

hello, I have a asrock z77e-itx with an i5 3570k processer , I want to upgrade to this z87e-itx with a big i7 processer , will I be able to switch them out and plug in my hard drive and boot and go , or will I have to reload windows 7 and all my app's and games all over ? , THANKS

Although you probably won't *have* to reinstall Windows I would definitely recommend it.
So much of the hardware is changing that you will probably run into weird errors.
It shouldn't hurt anything to try it out, though.
Just make a backup first if you can.

Question 6

How do you get the wifi to work on this motherboard, Do you have to plug the antenna?

The antenna connects to two gold posts.  Under Ubuntu linux, it took a some trial and error to get drivers working; the newest ones did not work but one version from year or two ago worked, and worked rather well.

Question 7

Can the PCIe x16 slot be used for anything besides a video card?  Possibly a TV Tuner card or sound card?

I personally haven't used this slot on my ASRock Z87E-ITX for anything, but a quick google indicates that both types of cards are available and users indicate that it's no problem.
 My purpose in answering is to tell you that my ASRock Z87E-ITX ran perfectly for about 4 months, then DIED.... just refused to re-start after a normal shutdown.  All my diagnostic efforts to determine a cause failed and it appears that getting it replaced under ASRock's warranty replacement will take some effort and time. 
 Not wanting to wait and not wanting to double-down on a possible problem MLB, I replaced it with an Asus Z87I-Deluxe which is now up & running.  No other parts were changed and the Windows Experience Index improved by .1.  I'll get the ASRock replaced and save it for another build, but this is likely my first and only ASRock purchase.

Question 8

I bought 1866 RAM. Will it cause any major problems if I don't overclock?

Unlikely. The RAM will run at 1600 by default, and 1866 RAM certainly supports 1600. If your RAM is XMP ready, overclocking  should be fairly simple, too. You just need to go in BIOS and select the profile (frequency setting) you want. Save and exit and you're all set.

Is the driver on a disc in the box?

As is standard practice for most manufacturers, a disc containing all base drivers for this board is included with the retail box, and more up to date drivers, firmware and BIOS revisions can of course be downloaded from Asrock's website.
