Which power supply you choose entirely depends upon the equipment you have in your computer case.  I have a Corsair 850 Watt power supply, and that is WAY more than I need.  How to compute it is get a "wattage" (W) rating on each component in your cabinet (all disk drives, video card, and mother board, DVD/BD drive, etc.) and then multiply that by a minimum of 1.5, and as much as 3.0 depending on your plans for adding additional devices in your computer case.  As a rule of thumb, I never load a power supply more than 66% of its rating (this is where the 1.5 comes from).

Example:  if you have 250W total wattage rating of all your components, and expect you MIGHT add another 100W worth of equipment, then take (250 + 100) x 1.5 = 525W is about the MINIMUM power supply you would want to purchase.  Any larger capacity is, of course, always okay, and tends to extend the life of the power supply.

I currently use a GTX 660 Ti - will this fit in the same slot/space in the case?

Hi, Annette!  I have a gamer's motherboard that is a few years old with a PCI Express 2.0 slot (no 3.0), and previously had a GTX 570.  After I learned that this card will "down-clock" to be backwards compatible in a PCI Express 2.0 slot, I got it.  It's only been in for about 4 days now, but so far, no problems.  I got it to run 3 monitors with (which the 570 would not do).  To answer your question:  If your old card is plugged into a PCI Express 2.0 slot or above, then the answer is:  definitely.

Yes, it appears that it will. I am actually using a less powerful supply this this one and everything works fine. It looks like the correct power plug also.

I have 1 x PCI-e x 16 Slot. and a 400 watt PSU, will this work?

This card needs a PCI Express 3 x 16 connector and a vacant slot next to it. Many recent motherboards alternate between PCI Express 3 x 16 and PCI Express x1.

This card requires a 6 pin power cable to supply the extra current used by the card. You did not specify your PSU model, CPU,Mother Board, number of HDs , Sound Card, DVD player, or other peripherals. Each of which take power from your PSU.

Each HD uses about 8 to 10 watts running and 25 watts to spool up. Mother boards can use 85 watts depending on features. Sound cards 10 watts depending on out put power. Devils Canyon CPU can run 85 watts. This Video Card can use up to 150 watts.

I would say you will be close to the limit of the power supply.

Has anyone had any problems running this on Windows 10?

I switched to Win 10 as soon as i could and have never had a problem with this card. I also run a Nivida GeForce GTX 660 in the same machine and  both cards run fine.

Will this card install on a non-UEFI motherboard?  I have a M4A87TD/USB3 870 that has only legacy support.  Thanks.

i have a UEFI board but run it as legacy so i can use truecrypt, it works just fine on mine. i am not familiar with your board so can only tell you about mine, check with your board manufacturer would probably be best

I want to know how two of these cards will work is SLI? Ill be using the Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z and running a 1000w PSU.

Just from some quick checking: The Crosshair will do 3 way SLI and the 960 is approximately a 150 watt card so 3 will take 450 watts.  With a 1000 watt power supply (A good quality supply I'm assuming) you should be good to go with 3 cards.

would this GPU be compatible with the asus H81m-a micro atx board?

The board does appear to have PCI-E. I would only be worried about size of the case you want to put it in; since the board is so small

Does this video card supports 3 monitors at the same time? I know the EVGA GTX960 supports up to 4 monitors. However, in general I like Asus products more.

It has the connectivity to drive 3 monitors for desktop use fine. Either (2DP+ (HDMI,DVI) or (DVI + HDMI+DP) However if your doing multi-monitor gaming, the card isn't going to have enough FPS to drive 3 monitors for ultra wide gaming.
