speed do,nt work at 1000 mbit for win7 ulimate for loacal network???

I've never had any trouble with this switch including running at 1000Mbit. Since there is nothing on the switch you can change, the only thing I can think of is does your Win7 computer have a gigabit network interface? Is it only 100Mbit? Or is the setting in Windows for the network hardware not set to Auto link speed?
