The Intel version of this board reduces GPU card to X8 if a PCIe 5.0 M.2 is used. That’s just an Intel limitation, right? Can I use a PCIe 5.0 M.2, and still have 16X on my GPU with this board?

According to the manual, you can have a 16x GPU in slot one, or 2 cards 8x in slots 1 and 2. Again, according to the manual, though, if you have a card in expansion slot 3, it uses the lanes in m.2 socket 3, which is a PCIE 4 socket. Set your choice in the BIOS.

On the Overview, it says the max RAM is 128GB, but on the Specs, it is listed as 192GB. Which is correct?

BIOS 1415 (2023/05/16) added support for 48GB DDR5 Modules bringing max capacity to 192GB.

What are the back plate dimensions?

The back plate dimensions are 12.0 inches x 9.6 inches.

Does this use the i225 Ethernet controller or i226?

It uses the Intel I225-V (rev 03) controller for the 1Gb LAN Port
