It will depend, I had to buy different RAM after because my model number did not work. I found a compatible one by going to the webpage for the motherboard on ASUS, then click Support tab next to where it says Features, Tech Specs, Awards, and Gallery. Then click CPU/Memory Support tab, then Memory below that, and you can search model numbers.
