The ATEN VC880 is an HDMI repeater that can extend the HDMI input signal by up to 50 feet (15 m). It supports Full HD 1080p and 3D video to be up to date with the latest technology. It can also extract the HDMI audio signal, and convert it to the audio type to fit your audio device. Thus you can output the audio through analog RCA connectors or digital optical/coaxial connectors. The VC880 is ideal for users who want to enjoy high-definition video on HDMI displays with their choice of high-definition audio output on TVs, projectors, A/V receivers, or speakers.
The VC880 is an HDMI Repeater with audio extraction and 3D support. It provides HDMI video at 1080p up to 50 ft using 24 AWG cable.
The audio extraction feature allows you to select the audio output best suited to your environment - L/R analog stereo, HDMI, TOSLINK, or Coaxial.
The VC800 is HDMI 1.3a and HDCP 1.1 compliant to ensure compatibility with equally compliant components.
TOSLINK and Coaxial audio are selectable to provide either 2.0 or 5.1 audio outputs.
Cascadable DesignThis unit can repeat an HDMI input signal, and transmit it up to 50 feet (15 m) away. You can also expand the repeater to three levels, which adds up to a total of 150 feet (45 m) extension range.
Audio De-embedderThis repeater can extract an HDMI audio signal and outputs as an additional audio source, via the optical/coaxial digital audio format or the RCA analog stereo audio format. The CH2/CH5.1/Auto mode audio channel selection provides great convenience.
Audio On/Off SwitchYou can enable/disable the HDMI audio by toggling the on/off switch next to the HDMI port.
