is this turntable black or silver?

The turntable was exactly as pictured when I received mine - It is mostly silver, with the exception on the round black mat that the vinyl will sit on. The cover is also detachable

Does this turntable have rca outputs as well as usb?

yes, works great with my Sherwood receiver and Bose 10.2 speakers,couldn't figure out how to work with my computer though. great quality,good price .I recommend it.

Can this unit be used independently or does it need to be attached to another system?

It doesn't have speakers, but that's all it needs. It comes with a standard 1/8 output, so we just plug it in to a cheap boombox for sound. The amp is built-in.

does the table have adjustable speed (strobe, etc)?

Yes, two speeds, 33 rpm and 45 rpm

Is there any tracking force adjustment? Adjustable counterweight on the tone arm?

No. Everything is preset and adjustments are not available. Stylus can be replaced, but not the cartridge.

can i use Serato CV02 timecode vinyl records or any timecode vinyl and is it direct drive turntable ?

While you COULD use this with a timecode record, I probably wouldn't. This seems like it is more for home use, for someone who is just looking to occasionally play some vinyl and maybe back them up. This is belt-driven. The AT-LP120 is a direct drive unit.
