how loud is it? how is the cooling?

I use this laptop myself. It's been very quiet throughout the day. However, because I work in customer service and have many processes running, it occasionally triggers high-speed operation plus the fan, resulting in about 30 seconds of noise before returning to normal. The heat dissipation is acceptable; it doesn't get hot when I occasionally use the laptop's keyboard and touchpad because I use a stand, mouse, and external keyboard, so I don't really notice any difference in heat dissipation.

What type of warranty is included with this laptop, and are there options to extend the warranty coverage?

One-year warranty, which is generally included. If so, you can purchase an extended warranty.

How does the webcam switch work for privacy protection, and is there a physical cover for the camera?

Yes, there is a switch above the camera that controls the physical cover.

Can the RAM be upgraded from 32GB to a higher capacity in the future, or is it soldered onto the motherboard?

Yes, upgrades are supported. It has two memory modules, up to 64GB (32GB*2). The RAM are removable; they're not soldered to the motherboard.
