does this include mounting hardware for desktop pc? If so, what mounting space?

Mine did not come with anything but the drive. I am pretty sure it's intended primarily for laptop machines (I used it to replace a Chromebook SSD) Make sure you have the correct adapter/form factor, as this is M.2, not SATA, like most desktops use. If your motherboard has an M.2 slot, all you should need is a screw to secure the drive in place on your motherboard, which would have probably came with the motherboard.

Is this single sided or double sided?

It only fits in a single direction. The connector is keyed.

What are the read/write speeds?
