Does this come with everything for vertical GPU mounting?

The ASUS GT502 Case does come with a back panel adapter for vertically mounting video cards, and a magnetized vertical stand for boosting the other end of the card. You will have to separately purchase a PCI-E x16 Gen 3 or 4 riser cable to connect the card to the motherboard. Check your videocard to see what PCI-E generation it is, before buying the cable, to get the best bandwidth. Hope this helps.

Correct. I had same reservations until you see that you can get an external optical drive for 25$.
