Does this model have the solid, snap-in cover for the top, a magnetic filter, or only the case's mesh?

If I am not mistaken, most of the time I have seen people receive the case with a magnetic filter for the top. But oddly enough mine did not come with a filter for the top of the case, so I just have the case’s metal mesh.

No it does not come with any RGB lighting installed. However it is a sleek case and there are many affordable RGB fans available these days.

hi does anyone know how come this case has no slots for c/d drives?

In this day and age it’s outdated, u can get almost anything online by downloading it from the manufacturers website that includes your drivers, media, games, and anything else u might need. Coming from a driver standpoint the drivers that are on disk are 90% outdated anyway...if u need that cd drive bay then this case is not for you!

does this have a vertical mount for a graphics card?

Yes this case have a vertical mount but I would advise against this case as it doesn't offer much space for cable management

Will this fit and Evo212 Cooler on a I7-8700?

Hello, That cooler is 159mm tall and the case supports a max of 170mm in height for the CPU cooler. You should be okay to use that cooler in this case, hope this helps! Newegg Support
