Cons: Toner cartridges CRUSHED into a box too small for the two cartridges. Cartridges boxes crushed and split. Contacted New Egg by email - received a cryptic email after second email to them - when I asked for clarification - received email with no clarification but with an address for some other company - I think they expect me to pay for shipping back to them for a product they damaged before it even left their warehouse (shipping box was not crushed). No shipping papers came with the box. This all looks "fly by night." The previous purchase I received (a printer) was all beat to hell also (fortunately the printer wasn't damaged) . After 10 to 12 years this is my last order from New Egg. Quality has really dropped.

Overall Review: First time I'm not happy with customer service at newegg.com. I was a long time customer.

Pros: This is my second 05X for this printer and I'm consistenly getting over 6,000 copies. Good brand, good quality, very good Newegg coupon savings at time!

Cons: Like all HP consumables, they charge a premium... sometimes not sure if it's with the diffdrence, but in the past I've seen some toner refills that will cause more trouble than the printer is worth

Overall Review: HP charges a premium for their expendables... but the Newegg sales / coupons really bring the price down!

Pros: Have had this for about a year in the home office and it has had zero problems and prints papers out as fast as you can blink your eye.

Cons: Sadly one of the print cartridges did not work correctly. It showed empty almost immediately after putting it in the printer. Thinking it might be a problem with the printer it was switched out and the other one works perfectly.

Overall Review: Contacting HP about replacing a defective print cartridge we shall see how it goes. As a former HP tech support agent, for notebooks and desktops, I am assuming the worse. I love purchasing from Newegg and personally have spent a good deal of my own money, and I would hate for my job to not want to purchase again because of a print cartridge.

Pros: This toner is EGGsactly what you would expect from a reputable and well established company such as HP. I have never had an issue, and never had a defective product.

Overall Review: If you want to keep only one type of toner in stock than it is up to you to shop for the right printers. If you buy the wrong cartridge for your printer than it is a lack of concern on your part.

Pros: Have a 2055dn and this beats buying a 2300 page cartridge versus 6500 page! 2nd the New Egg price. A win win really for those that know what they are buying. The 2055dn is so wicked fast and now this cart what's not to like. Now I can focus on making money instead of waiting to print documents.

Pros: Good toner, works as it should. New Egg has the best prices I have found and their service is always great.

Cons: Do not fall for the rebate/gas card/bait and switch du jour. I use a fair number of these cartridges and have sent in for two rebates. The first was denied by letter stating I did not comply. I did. I have copies. I called and although I do not speak Farsi, I was able to scream them into sending a check, which they made out incorrectly. The second rebate I sent for was denied. I resent it. They denied it again. I sent the right stuff, believe me. I wonder what language I will need to use this time.

Overall Review: Buy the toner - it's good, New Egg is great, but discount the rebates from your budget unless you can find a combo deal here for Rosetta Stone in Farsi or the language of the moment in rebate land.
