Pros: This case is amazing; an absolute dream to work with. - Easy to use cable management. The supplied straps are sturdy and hold very well under the force of large bundles of cables. - Spacious. This case has the room for massive video cards and server sized motherboards. With the removable HHD Bays, you can create even more room (be it for air flow or water cooling. - Modular. It's standard setup was perfect for my budget gaming system, but it's capability to handle even top end systems is outstanding. With modular drive bays, up to 8 fan mounts, and room for most radiators, this case can handle most of the hardware that you can through at it. - Cost. This is the most value added case that I have ever seen. Though I purchased this case on a budget, I definitely don't feel like I settled. There is no buyer's remorse, or feeling the need to upgrade the case in the near future. - Subjective. I like the looks of this case. It has a sort of minimalist look from afar, but the windows give it that slight edge (to let everyone know you're a gamer). It's perfect for someone like me; whose tower is not the keystone of the aesthetics of my room. However with a few LED lights or LED Case Fans, this case can definitely draw the eye. Packaging - It seems that Phanteks has heard the previous reviews and made some changes. The packing Styrofoam was two solid pieces at each end and another covering the window. The handy dandy toolbox kit was carefully wire-tied down; to prevent it from shifting and scratching the window in transit. BIG PLUS for the company listening to criticism, and making changes to make the consumer happy and more valued.
Cons: - People have complained about the ease of scratching the window. I was lucky enough to be blemish free; so far. I'll just put this in the cons to make sure everyone is more careful when dealing with that panel on the case (not because I see this an issue, because it hasn't happened to me).
Overall Review: When making budget upgrades to my previous gaming rig, I was forced to get a new case due to the size of the Tri-X R9 290 that I purchased. The card was a massive 12 inches long and wouldn't fit in my old NZXT Zero case. I know. I know. I should have checked first. I just figured "It's a full tower gaming case. It should be fine". I guess I should have factored in its age, and that new cards are bigger and stronger. Freaking out. I rushed to Newegg to find something that wouldn't case my budget to explode. Low and behold, I found the Enthoo Pro. This case is so much better than my previous case (which I though was awesome; for a time), and is definitely worth every penny. If you are on a budget; don't hesitate. Get this case.
Pros: - Attractive: In my opinion. - Versatile: Air, AIO water or custom loop cooling options. - Well Engineered: Can install a 360mm or 420mm radiator on top without removing the 5.25 inch bay mounting. With the common 27mm thick radiator and 25mm thick fan, the bottom two 5.25 inch bays will be usable with slightly more than an inch clearance for any portion of the fan/radiator over the drive. Memory is removable with the same (27mm) thickness radiator and (25mm) fan in place. Excellent cable management. Ability to mod plexiglass side window to add fans. Up to 6 HDD and 4 SSD (1 SSD mounting bracket provided) Most pictures and online reviews only show the 2 back SSD mounting locations but 2 more have been added behind the smaller plexiglass window. Those interested in RGB might want to display an RGB SSD there. Those interested in optimum cooling would like the fact the outer edge of the 200mm fan will pass air over the SSD. Plenty of room for long video cards...even more if you remove the HDD cages, though I can't see why you would ever need to unless 4 fan coolers become a thing. Most will like the dust filters. I clean my case once a month with an air compressor and blow gun, so I will take the less airflow restrictive filterless option. I'll still use the PSU filter to prevent the possibility of anything getting sucked in from the floor. - Price: Considering all the pros I've mentioned above, the $100 price tag is more than fair. - Outstanding Support/Customer Service: I'll cover this in the "Other Thoughts" section.
Cons: Case came with a missing a PSU pad and with a 4.25 inch long scratch on an inside panel. (Covered more in "Other Thoughts")
Overall Review: I'm not going to be building in this case for some time, so when it arrived, I decided to look it over and test what I could. Upon removing the windowed side panel, I found 4.25 inch long scratch in the panel that runs from top to bottom of case, the one directly viewable behind the smaller plexiglass window. The scratch started from a screw location then over to a metal lip on the panel and straight down from there. The scratches were also in a very odd pattern. From what I could tell, it looked like something went haywire during an automated assembly process and the tool went off it's designated path while still spinning. I later removed the PSU cover to find only 2 of 6 PSU pad in their location. I found one more in the bottom of the case and later found 2 more in the giant plastic bag the case is wrapped in. They were still plenty sticky so I put the 3 I found in place. Next, I decided to test the PWM hub and fans using my current computer. Since my CPU fan header was currently powering my CPU fan, I decided to test using the system fan headers, which I'll later find out was a mistake on my motherboard. Both fans failed to spin. I tested both fans and they both worked. I (incorrectly) assumed the PWM hub was bad. I've never had to RMA anything I bought from New Egg in the 15+ years I've been ordering from them and I didn't want today to be the first. I really didn't know much about Phanteks except they burst on the scene roughly 4 years ago with a lot of, what looked to me, like great products. I decided to see how Phanteks support was. You hear countless tales of poor to a complete lack of support when it comes to computer hardware in general, but this was NOT the case with Phanteks. I sent them an email telling them of my problems and requesting replacement parts and got a prompt reply back. They asked for a picture of the scratch, which I provided and asked me a question about the PWM hub, which I answered. They emailed me back that they would be shipping out a replacement PWM hub, PSU pads and panel. Two business days later I had notification of shipping and a tracking number and 4 days after that I had my parts. Coming from CA to PA, I consider 4 days more than acceptable. They gave me 6 PSU pads and the replacement panel was scratch free. I tested the PWM hub and it didn't work. I contacted support again and they dug a bit deeper to find out what was going on. Again, I got prompt replies to my emails. Turns out the hub will not work without a PWM signal and the headers I was testing off of didn't have one. I had incorrectly assumed it would work but with the fans on full speed. Phanteks set me straight on that. I can't stress how great their support and customer service was and how painless they made the whole process. It's great piece of mind to know they will make good on any problems you might have and in a timely fashion to. I would absolutely buy their products again because of that. P.S. I had to laugh... Before sending out this review, I wanted to do some fact checking/measuring. Part of that included installing a 5.25 inch drive for the radiator/fan clearance part of the review. When I was done, I pulled the drive out and stuck to it was the 6th and final missing PSU pad. Achievement Accomplished: Scavenger Hunt
Pros: - Amazing design - Price - All the room you need - Great build quality - Rubber washers in every thumb screw - All panels are on screws and rivets - Space for 240/280/360 radiator on top - Filters everywhere - Power button and front ports are on the chassis and not the panels. - Tinted side window panel - 8 PCI slots - Even all of your case screws are coming in a little box with separate compartments - Both water cooling and air cooling friendly I can go on and on and on...but at the end of the day, if I was Corsair, NZXT, Fractal and all the other guys that are on a market for a while, I will be very scared. Phanteks are killing it, for me this is the case of the year so far!
Cons: None what so ever!
Overall Review: I am almost 40 years old and I am building computers for almost 20 years, I currently have cases from Corsair (800D), Fractal (Define Arc Midi), NZXT (M59 and P530) and I have to say the Enthoo Pro is the best of them all!!! Phanteks are a new company to the case market, but from what I have seen so far, they are right on point what people want and need. Keep up the great work Phanteks, you have me as a sure customer.
Pros: First, let me say that I'm no computer genius. However, I have to build lots of high end desktops for my 3D modeling and printing business. Buying lower end PC's for triple the price just isn't cost-effective for me. - Absolute best design. Dell business class type feel. A lot like my old Optiplex cases that just won't quit. -Combination of all the best features you'd ever want in a case. -A whole rack of 6 drive bays with the pro-style dell snap in design. The whole drive rack is also removable in sets of 3! -Back to front wire holes everywhere yet they look SO good. Very high quality rubber covers on all of them. They look classy. -Some of the units I build are server boxes - unfortunately most cases are junk and quickly get clogged with dust. Small, high-speed fans are no good for smooth airflow without sucking dirt. These fans are big and a decent speed. They keep the case ice cold, very quite, and very dust free. This is my favorite thing about my old Optilex boxes - some units have been running for 17 years straight. A perfect airflow design makes that possible. -PSU is bottom mount with excellent wire hiding power. The bottom is also vented for the PSU to blow/suck and the bottom also has easily removable and cleanable filters. Nothing to wash or turn the computer over, it just slides out while standing there. -Side mount bracket for SSD's - can mount it in 2 spots in the front or 1 spot behind the back panel. Couldn't ask for better use of space. -This is the first aftermarket case I've bought that has an acceptable quality of aluminum. I can't tell you how many Thermaltake and Coolermaster cases I've been though in the $300 range that were STILL built like tin foil. This stuff isn't OEM quality, but it's certainly adequate. -This is a great workstation box not just for cooling and long life, but also because it takes a whole ton of board sizes, including server sizes like SSI EEB. This means I can just keep buying this same amazing box without having to find a new one each time or being supremely dissappointed when I buy a different case for an SSI EEB board. -Metal mesh/grates on the front and sides isn't made out of chicken-wire like my Thermaltake cases. Pretty sturdy. -Even though this thing holds big boards and a ton of hardware, it really isn't a huge box. I've had the biggest cases money could buy and they didn't hold this much hardware. It fits under a desk without looking like a monster, is relatively light weight, and holds a ton. Phanteks has made me a customer for life.
Cons: -Nothing. This thing is the bomb. -If you REALLY want to be a jerk and nitpick an amazing case at $99 ... I'd say they should include two more SSD brackets. -Additionally, the 6 drive bay brackets are made out of plastic which does eventually break after years of heat. Really complaining about these is unfair. I imagine margin is down to nothing on this case. If you want perfect design and all metal internals, spend more than $100. I would hope some of their more expensive cases would be the same internal layout with higher end materials.
Overall Review: -Unbelievably at such a low price point they included several "high end" extras you don't normally see: 1. You get a sweet set of various sized Phanteks screws in an organizer case. That's just plain nice. Stop it. 2. They supply an absolutely excellent instruction booklet. It's even high quality printing! But seriously they even break down each side panel and show you how it disassembles. Wiring diagrams included for pre-wired USB's
Pros: Where to start? ---VISUALS--- -While this is subjective, the case is stunning. The top and front are black hardened high-quality plastic, the back-plate is stout metal, and the side is tempered glass. The entire case looks and feels high-quality. -I like the option of being able to display your SSDs in the side glass panel. There's also 2 spots in the back to mount SSDs if you choose not to display them. -The power button RGB color can be changed with the front panel button ---QUALITY--- -The quality of this case is absolutely superb. It doesn't appear Phanteks cut any corners in the build, both inside and outside of the case. There's nothing with this case that feels cheap. -All interior and parts are quality metal, with the exceptions of a few of the lock-in-points for CD-ROMs/front panels and such - which are plastic. -All panels are nice and flushed together. ---FUNCTIONALITY--- -Cable management was a breeze by including multiple large rubber grommet openings, various miscellaneous openings for other wires, and by having multiple preinstalled Velcro straps and tie-down points on the back. The case also comes with additional Velcro straps and zip-ties. -The entire case is filtered. The top, front, and bottom of the case have included magnetic air-filters. -All panels are easy to remove (with a slight exception of the glass panel due to it's weight and attach points) -The case came with preinstalled spacers for an ATX motherboard, and includes additional spacers for an e-ATX motherboard. You can easily move these to other positions for other sized motherboards. -The PSU cover is easily removable by it being attached with 3 thumb screws on the back. -I used a 280mm AIO and it fit on the top just fine. RAD and fan placements are endless. ---OTHER--- -There's a built-in power hub on the back plate where you can install all of your RGB/fans. I didn't use this and hooked up everything directly to my motherboard so I can't comment on the functionality on that. -Screws, additional Velcro straps, zip-ties, and other parts come in a nice divider box with quite a few extra (I lost a few screws while building and this saved me) -Case feet are 6x rubber pads, 4 in the corner and 2 in the middle -Instruction book was easy to understand and includes visuals
Cons: If you choose not to use the back built-in power hub for the RGB fans, the RGB wires for the front 2 fans will most likely be too short to hook up directly to your motherboard - they only reach about half the length of the case. The length of the fan cables for power is plenty long enough to reach the motherboard though.
Overall Review: ---OVERALL --- After going through other disappointing brands in the past, Phanteks has earned a new customer for future builds. This case exceeded my expectations and was happy to see they didn't cut corners in the build. For $130, this is a steal. Phanteks Enthoo Pro TG MSI Z370 Pro Carbon AC Intel I7-8700K EVGA AIO 280mm MSI 1080Ti Trio 2x8GB G.Skill RGB Trident Z EVGA G3 Supernova 750w Samsung 960 EVO 500GB Crucial 1TB SSD
Pros: + Accepts just about every motherboard size on the market, so future upgrades won't be hindered by size + Stock fans are actually very good and for the first time I won't be swapping them out right away + Side panel design is a change of pace that's pretty neat; instead of having to line up slits, the door operates more like a hinge and makes it easier to slide in and out + Optical drives. Yes they might be on their way out, but I for one would rather have one and not need it than need it and not have one + Overall build quality; it's quite good considering the plastic components and everything seems to be designed quite well + The modding capabilities of this case are ridiculous. While I'm not much of a modder myself, I do appreciate the flexibility to switch things up should that need arise. If you want to know what I'm referring to, look up this case on Youtube and check out some of the reviews - they'll give a visual of what I mean + Plenty of room for different size radiators to mount on either the top or front + Elevated quite high to maximize bottom intake + Plenty of dust filters + PSU shroud is removable if it's not your cup of tea to hide your stuff + SSD mount in rear; personally, that's one component I don't need to show off but that might be a con for others + With the HDD racks installed, users have the option to install an additional 120mm fan to help move air from the 200mm intake
Cons: - Somewhat louder than my previous case, but not by much (expected because of the size) - Side panel window is a bit more tinted that I would prefer - Packing material could be better; mine came a bit scuffed in the back but it's minimal and not worth an egg - The green isn't exactly green except in bright light, but I'm really splitting hairs here to think of any cons
Overall Review: I came from the NZXT H440 and while that case was decent in its own right, I had no idea what I was missing with a full tower set up. To quote Will Ferrell in 'Step Brothers', "There's so much more room for activities!". No longer do I gotta squeeze my cables around tight corners and work real hard to organize all my components. Let's be clear, organizing in a mid-tower is not brain surgery, but never having this much room before it's like night and day. I'm sure other full tower owners won't be surprised, but being a full tower virgin it was a very pleasant surprise. One aspect that would have made this case absolutely perfect would be a removable radiator mount, such as the one in their EVOLV lineup. It wasn't overly difficult, but if it had been removable it sure would be easier. But this is one of their earliest models so I can't really fault them for it; they were still a pretty new company when this debuted, so at least it was added later. It was the optical drive bays that actually sold me on this. I know it's a dying technology (for some reason), but I like having that option just in case I come across a CD or DVD and wanna pop it in real quick. Phanteks has earned themselves a customer with this case. I shall review again when more time has passed. Perhaps after the honeymoon stage I'll find something I truly dislike about the case, but for now I'd recommend it if you're looking for a straight forward case with plenty of adaptive features.

Pros: Tons of space, underpriced, expensive features, elegant finish
Cons: Can't think of any for a case at its price point.
