Will this work in my Dell Studio 1555 Laptop ?

Check the dimensions of the existing drive in your laptop. If your existing drive is 9 or 9.5mm in height this drive may not fit. This drive is 15mm thick. Do your research extensively before you buy this drive.

Can this drive WD20NPVZ be installed into a TiVo Bolt?

Yes but it takes a little modification. The drive is thicker

Does the hard drive have security features? Meaning is it lockable?

It appears it does have this capability, at least on full model number WDC WD20NPVZ-00WFZT0. I was able to issue a user password with hdparm and -I came back with "supported" as well as "enabled". Enabled was not showing prior to issuing the password. I'm not going to test a secure erase though. Additionally the output of hdparm -I shows: 394min for SECURITY ERASE UNIT. 394min for ENHANCED SECURITY ERASE UNIT.
