Can this Sata 6 HD be used to replace a Sata 3 HD?
The size, 9.5mm is the same.  And the volume is ok.

Yes. The SATA 6 is backwards compatible to SATA 3, and I have noticed faster response times than the SATA 3 drive that I replaced, Even though it was operating at the same SATA 3 speeds. The volume is not going to be the issue anyways.

Question 2

My Dell Latitude 360 Hard Drive died...was a recertified drive.  Will this work in my laptop, as the old one says it was an ATA??

This hard drive connects through a serial ATA (SATA) connector.  This is different from the older style ATA connector.  You can tell the difference by the cable that attaches to the hard drive.  Both types will have two connections; one for power and one for data.  If you have a very wide connector on a flat ribbon cable, you have the older ATA and this newer drive cannot be directly connected.  The good news is that you can purchase an adaptor that connects between the wide ATA and the much smaller SATA.  These don't always work, but it is an option.

does this drive come as shown or does it have a cover? Or Do I need to purchase a cover separately to install it in my laptop?

The first picture on the newegg website shows the internals of the drive.  If you look at the other pictures, the drive is sealed and needs no further cover.

It is a Hard drive, Not a Flash drive. It works well and transfer rate is a little faster than other older hard drives.

I am a tiny bit stumped by your question as WD3200BPVT is a 320gb HDD(Hard Drive), not a 160gb HDD.

However this drive would work fine as a replacement. It may be thinner than the original but will work and fit perfectly.

As far as I know it will. It's your standard laptop HDD size. I used this to replace a family members failed HDD and don't remember the model but it was an HP Pavilion.

Yes... it should. The dell N7010 uses a 120gb SATA HDD. This would be a signicant upgrade to storage. However, remember that your restore image is on the other HDD. Without using a cloning software (many great free ones like Macrium Reflect Free) if the old drive still has a good image, you will lose your OS and will have to reinstall using an OEM disk or restore disk set.

Did a bit of research on this, apparently its possible but you have to format it correctly the first time and use a few tools. But if you were going for an upgrade I would try for a 7200RPM hdd because it reduces load time and stuttering.
