Pros: The voltage is exactly 1.84 volts according to an Intel auto detect. The Intel D975xbx2 Motherboard out of the box fired right up without issues.

Cons: No cons on the RAM. The Intel D975xbx2 MB I had some words for.

Pros: I Put the RAM in and the BIOS posts so I'm happy! Ok joking aside I've had 4gb of this exact RAM in my desktop for quite sometime. I finally got unlazy and upgraded to 8gb total for the ridiculously low price NewEgg sells this for. Up came W7 64 and I was photoshoping and playing TF2 within 5 minutes of installing. Honestly it's refreshing to get hardware, put it in place, and have it work so flawlessly.

Pros: Runs very cool, SPD settings detected properly, rock solid stable, heatsinks of high quality, no issues whatsoever!

Cons: Heatsinks make these very tall, so there may be fitment issues when using large CPU coolers.

Overall Review: Bought these on 06/25/2007 when they were $269.99 and do not regret the purchase one bit, even though they have come down in price by $200 since then. I have used them in an Asus Crosshair for over one year, and they are still going strong now in a Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-UD5P. The SPD has been detected properly every time, and while I have not attempted to overclock them much, they have been 100% rock solid stable since the day they arrived. The attached heatsink is actually very sturdy and does not feel like it will break off when installing the RAM. Overall this RAM deserves 10 eggs since it has been problem free for two years straight, and believe me, it has not had an easy life!

Pros: 1. Fast. There is literally no speed difference between this RAM running 800mhz and my OCZ Reaper 1066mhz fully clocked, but the Corsair is far more stable 2. Reliable. Has lasted 1yr with much handling with one stick just recently giving me trouble 3. Warrantee. Can't beat a lifetime warrantee. 4. Service. My RMA was issued by Corsair with no hassle, and the longest delay was transit time.

Cons: Doesn't last forever? Really none within reasonably high expectations.

Overall Review: Bought this when it was much more expensive, and would gladly pay the same price again. This also makes a good alternative to higher-priced 1066 modules. I'm sure high-end system test software could tell the difference, but my games have run better on this.
