Pros: this ram is awesome just like other reviews i dropped it in changed the timings and it worked perfect....it looks gorgeous on my crosshair v formula-z board...i am a corsair fanboy...they simply great at making good looking and great working tech ....i wouldnt recomend anything else
Cons: the onlyy con is the leds arent all that bright they are kinda hard to see but the accent the ram pretty well i guess
Overall Review: corsair graphite 600t white edition
corsair tx 750 psu
corsair dominator platinum 16 gb -1866
corsair force gt 120 gb ssd
ccorsair venegence m60 mouse
asus crosshair v formula-z mobo
amd fx-8150 be cpu
xfx radeon 6950
western digital cavier black 1 tb
asus 24x optical drive
razer black widow ultimate 2012 blue
Pros: Look great, easy to take the light bar off (need a small torx bit screwdriver). Clock well, gotten to 2400Mhz on Z77/3570K. Double sided DIMMs using Samsung HCH9 ICs.
Cons: Could just be my kit, but Im guessing this line of ram is really binned appropriately, since it will not run the specs of the 2133 kit without bumping up the vdimm to 1.55V. 2200Mhz 9-11-11-27-2T needed bumped to 1.6V. Will probably need 1.7V to match the 2400Mhz 9-11-11 kit.
Overall Review: Plain clear/white LEDs light up a piece of acrylic that goes over the heatspreader. So when the other colors come out in September, you can just unscrew it and swap the acrylic bars to fit the color of your build.
Pros: Top quality, and you can tell before you even take it out of the package. The heatsinks are heavy because they're made of good materials. The clocks easily set, will run at 1T command rate no problem, and they overclock very well.
Cons: They can be a bit temperamental on 990FX boards. Not a huge deal, not hard to get past, but yeah they can act strange at first.
Overall Review: For those of you complaining that the RAM won't run at 1866 -- For AMD systems, outside of their FX series, most AMD chips will only run RAM at 1600, not 1866. I've got a 1090T and without overclocking the FSB, I can only do 1600 on my Sabertooth 990FX. I knew this going in, I bought these for a future upgrade to a Vischera, which will let the RAM run at 1866. Always check to see if your CPU AND motherboard can run 1866 RAM if you want it to run at 1866 not 1600!
Pros: Running flawlessly at 1866Mhz on an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX rev 2.0 Motherboard. 9-10-9-24 timings on 1302 BIOS. AMD FX 8350 CPU.
Note: Ram Frequency, timings and voltage must be manually set in the BIOS.
Cons: Price, but IMO, well worth it.
Overall Review: I have always run ASUS motherboards with Corsair Dominators. Was happy to see Dominators that were good looking and factory clocked at 1866Mhz.
Would recommend to anyone.
Pros: Good performance.
Nice heat spreaders with lights on them.
No complaints so far.
Cons: Market watchers are saying RAM prices are probably going to go up. Get it while it's cheap!
Pros: Great quality built RAM. I can customize them! They are blazing fast. They light up. They stay cool.
Cons: Nothing, there is absolutley nothing i could even say. Except BUY now!
Pros: White LED
Overall Review: Would not purchase this product again. Used on Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 USB 3.1 board. Kept at standard timing. I had expected better quality from a known brand name and especially on a model that's supposed to be ultra-durable for overclocking and be a flagship model.
Pros: These were my splurge buy to deck out my gaming computer. I have never run out of ram since installation(wouldn't expect to with this level of overkill). I even saw a slight performance bump in titles like Batman Arkham City and Torchlight 2 with mods. All of the lag I previously experienced is gone, which makes me a happy gamer.
