Is this memory compatible with the Asus Z87 Pro Motherboard?

Yes, I have a pair on my ASUS Z87-Pro mobo. I am running it at 1866 (am o/c to4.2GHz) so the speed is good. I think I defaults to 1600 so make sure to set it to 1866 in the settings. No special cooling is necessary. Careful not to bend the sheet metal when inserting by pushing down super hard. it's a good choice for the board.

Can I run two sets of this product in one pc? (i.e. a total of 32gb) Would that be quad channel?

Quad channel is generally only available on the LGA 2011(Sandy Bridge-E, Ivy Bridge-E) based motherboards, so be sure your board supports it (should have 8 memory slots, 4 on each side of the CPU).
As per Linus Tech Tips and other sources, you should always try to get a pack of the total RAM you want to use, as they were tested and rated together. In saying that, the chances are good that 2 of these would work well together, as long as you stick to the rated speed.
Remember that in order to run in dual channel mode, only half of your memory slots must be filled in an alternating fashion.

Nope, all you need is to make sure your motherboard supports 240-Pin DDR3 Ram.  If it does you just need to plug it in and turn it on.  Most, if not all, modern motherboards should support his type of RAM.

Will this kit work with MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming Motherboard?

it will work flawlessly with that board.
That board supports up to 3000mhz RAM. This ram has XMP for 1866, you can easily push these farther.

Of course I'm one of the believers that faster RAM doesn't do to much gaming wise, 1866 is what I've found to be the sweet spot price/performance.

It doesn't come in red.  But it does something to your eyes that suddenly filters any blue or green from it completely; making it look quite red.

Doug,

According to the specs you gave, your computer can support up to 32GB of RAM.  So you should be able to put four of these in your mobo and it should work as long as you are running a 64bit Operating System.

I have tried this memory in three different MB's (ASUS, Gigabyte, AsRock) and it has worked in all three. However I have not tried it on the specific MB you have mentioned. On two of the MB's the BIOS did not pick up the 1866 setting but I went into the BIOS and made the change manually and it worked...

Your Motherboard is more than capable of handling the extra memory. 
Make sure all 4 sticks of memory match... same DDR3, size 8G, latency,
and pins. There should be no issues.
Not sure which OS you are currently using but some older Operating  Systems Such as Windows 7 Home edition can limit your memory
usage to only 16G. In that case adding memory will not allow you to use it.
If you have that you may want to consider upgrading your OS as well.
