Dell Optiplex 3010 / 7010 Compatible12/8/2019 10:42:56 AM
Pros: I'd give some "Pro's" on this, but my memory isn't that good
Get it??
I made a funny
Cons: None
Overall Review: This memory works as expected on both our Dell Optiplex 3010's and our 7010's with no issues.
I expect no less when using Crucial memory, they're always reliable in my experience.
Pros: I gave me more ram to run my couple computer games I have which are Starcraft 2 and World of Tanks. It hasn't had any issues and I don't perceive the stick to have any issues. I wanted to max out the ram I could have in my computer and this did it just fine and I love it.
Cons: None that I can think of. Had no problems installing it in other than pushing it in to the memory slot which is to be expected.
Overall Review: I'd recommend it to anyone that's lookin for a memory stick that'll do the job. Also I'd buy it if I needed another one for sure.
Pros: Works out of the box without issue. Wanted more RAM for a virtual machine I'm running off a Windows computer. No problems. Just make sure you pay attention to the difference between DDR3 and DDR3L.
Cons: None

Ram broke after two months10/28/2020 5:02:09 PM
Overall Review: Ram stopped working within 2 months and i had to switch back to my awful old ram. don't know if it was a unit specific problem, and it probably was, but it stopped working and that is what is important.

Pros: Worked as expected. In service for a month with no problems.
Good price.
The memory from Crucial don't work6/10/2022 2:44:19 PM
Pros: Can't say I find any pros
Cons: I ordered these two sets of memories as recommended by Crucial. They don't work. The computer would not even start when I installed the four memories. When I combine the two already installed in the computer with two I ordered, there is a red bar in the front of the computer and when I see the properties of the computer it shows "Installed 20 gigs, usable 12."
Overall Review: Definitely I would not recommend!
Manufacturer Response:
Hello,
We thank you for your review and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We certainly understand your concern however, we request you to perform the below steps.
1.Turn off the system and unplug it
2.Remove the case cover/panels
3.After the system is open touch an exposed/bare metal part of the computer to ground yourself
4.Looking at the motherboard you should see a small silver circular battery (like a watch battery). The battery will be held in place by a plastic holder
5.Remove the battery from the motherboard. This is usually done by gently pressing the metal clip on the plastic holder. The battery should pop up/out on its own
6.After the battery has been removed, leave the computer sitting like that for around 15 minutes
7.After 15 minutes replace the battery and the cover/panels
8.Reconnect all cables and power up the computer
Also, please mention the make and model of the system so that we would be able to help you in the best possible way.
