Does this Crucial MX500 2.5" 500GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT500MX500SSD1 comes with 9.5 mm adapter for SSD or not?

I purchased 2 and both came with 9.5mm adapters (basically a spacer). It's now listed as part of the basic product on the Crucial website.

Do I need to buy a sata 3 cable?

If you are replacing a drive in a laptop you don't need a cable. If you are adding a drive to a desktop you will need a cable, this does not include any cables or mounting hardware.

Will this work in my HP G62 Notebook?

If your HP Notebook can accept a 2.5 inch SATA drive, then this should work just fine. You will probably need the spacer that the Crucial drive comes with (don't throw away the little plastic rectangle). The SSD is, most likely, thinner than the hard drive it is replacing. Yes the 500GB drive has 500MB cache.  Other drive sizes have equivalent percentage DRAM relative to capacity.  250GB has 250MB, 2TB has 2GB dram.

Will this work in a 2008 Macbook Pro? Do I need a specific SATA III driver?

I have installed a Crucial MX SATAIII SSD with 250 GB capacity in my 2009 MacBook Pro without any problems. No driver wad needed for that. In my experience, practically all name brand SATAIII drives are backward compatible with SATAII controller. Furthermore, it's unlikely that there were any material changes introduced to the storage subsystem between the 2008 to the 2009 MacBook models. The original mechanical hard drive in my MacBook had a capacity of 320GB. Therefore, I assume the 500GB capacity in your SSD should not present a problem either. (500GB media had been available for quite a few years prior to 2008.)
You may also want to go to Crucial's web site. They have a compatibility checker for RAM and SSDs, which I have found useful many times over. They cover a wide range of computers and motherboards. Your MacBook should be featured there as well, with Crucial's authoritative answer.

Yes, comes with either a product key for free download of Acronis True Image or newer version of Acronis True Image will work on Crucial SSDs w/out a key.  See the Crucial SSD support page.  Save yourself the aggravation and use Macrium Reflect Free home edition instead

Will this work in an Acer Aspire 6930-6455 ?

Yes, according to the Crucial website's system update assistant it will work with your Acer Notebook. However, you're talking about a notebook that's probably close to 10 years old, and limited to 4 GB RAM. It runs on ancient DDR2 RAM, which makes it significantly slower than even DDR3. if I were you I'd consider investing in a somewhat newer notebook with DDR3 memory and an Intel i5, or newer AMD CPU, and much rather updating that to an SSD. You can find very good refurbs here at this site in the $100-$200 range, e.g. a Dell Latitude, Lenovo Thinkpad, or HP Elitebook. Those are built like tanks and should give you another 3-5 years of good use - which your Acer won't. (I've owned or repaired a number of Acers over the years, and was never impressed by their build quality or longevity.)

This will work in a 2008 Macbook Pro without special drivers. It will definitely be faster than the stock drive but not as fast as it could be in a newer Mac that still has SATA III.

Yes it can ne installed in. 2012. Not a super difficult install but be careful of the fan connector on the motherboard. It can break easily.
