I'm upgrading the RAM on my macbook pro. I'm looking for 8GB 1067 MHz but it looks like you only have 1066, does this matter?

I've never heard of 1067 RAM.  If you want, run Crucial's System Scanner from their website to make sure you get the correct type of RAM.

I've ordered Crucial RAM for dozens of PCs and Macs and have never had a problem!   :)

It would depend on the year of your Mack Book Pro. I have a late 2008 model mac book pro that also started at 4 GB. I've since upgraded it to now have 8 GB of RAM. It recognized and functions properly with the 8.

Crucial has an advisor tool that is really helpful in telling you which type of ram is compatible with your specific mac. Might be worth visiting their website and then purchasing from newegg.

It worked in my Late 08 MacBook aluminum unibody but you may have faster memory I don't know. It should work regardless but if you had say 1333 Mhz memory you will not be running at those speeds. Also you could just build/buy a whole new PC.

Late 2008 to early 2010 will take a maximum of 8GB, possibly with an EFI firmware flash required before it will be recognized.  Later models will take 16GB.  Everymac has some guides to which can be upgraded and to how much.  Be sure to match the exact type of RAM, Crucial is a good bet in my experience

I assume you mean Mid 2009 MacBook Pro? No such thing as a Late 2009 so far as I know. Regardless, yes, DDR3-1066 PC3-8500 8MB will work in a Mid 2009 MacBook Pro. And I'm pretty sure that 8MB is the maximum you can put in there.

I used this memory for my Mac Mini (2009), which works great.

No clue if it will work in a MacBook pro.  Crucial's website is usually pretty reliable, so ff the part numbers don't match, then I wouldn't buy.

Don't know. Mine is working great on my mid-2010 MacBook Pro. But if you Google it, I'm sure you'll find the answer. I think the 1066 and your MAC model number are what matter.
