Overall Review: Installation into a Mac Mini is a pain and a half, having to pull the entire computer apart just to reach the RAM slots and playing with the finicky tabs which secure it into place. Probably a good idea to just replace the HDD (WD's Scorpio Blue fits perfectly) while replacing the RAM, since you'll have to remove it to reach the RAM either way.

Did not work for my late 2008 Macbook Aluminum (A1278).
I had the latest firmware update (MB51.007D.B03) and running El Capitan.
The system would not boot at all with the memory installed, just 3 beeps.
I installed another 4GB set (2 x 2GB) from another brand and it worked fine.
I don't know if this is because the memory was bad, or not compatible, or El Capitan dis-allows the 8GB update previously allowed with Mountain Lion. I tried installing only 1 module at a time but none would work.
I am an IT professional so it isn't because I didn't know what I was doing. This is just for informational purposes in case someone else tries this with the same model Macbook and has a similar experience.
Pros: I installed this ram into a mid-2010 MacBook Pro that came w/4GB of ram. Noticeable improvement in performance, frequent color wheel is now rare even w/several applications running.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Overall Review: I would recommend this product.
Pros: Power down, remove back, slide out memory cards, slide in new ones, replace back, power down, back in business with twice as much memory.

Pros: According to Apple my late-2009 27" iMac barely makes the cutoff for compatibility with the new OS X Sierra. Decided I'd better bite the bullet and upgrade memory. Replaced the original 4GB RAM with two of these packs, for 16GB total (the max capacity). It was easy to do; and following the upgrade applications opened and ran noticeably "snappier" on OS X Yosemite. After installing OS X Sierra the machine continues to run fast. Expect this will add another 3-4 years to its useful life!
