Great Budget SSD
Pros: It just works. I haven't benchmarked these drives, but really that's not the point. They are vastly faster, more rugged, and have less power draw than a laptop HDD, and therefore make a great upgrade for an older laptop. They are especially good for people who might be prone to treat their mobile devices roughly.
Cons: These have been absolutely trouble-free, which is more than I can say for some other big name SSDs.
Poor Signal Strength
Pros: Recognized quickly by Windows and Linux, no driver hassles.
Cons: Very poor signal strength, needs to be close to access point. Tried several wifi routers with similar results.
Overall Review: Would not buy again since it's unreliable at any distance at all. This might be due to the form factor and not the actual circuitry.
Decent Fan, But...
Pros: Quiet, seems well made.
Cons: It's listed as 3/4 pin, but it's most definitely not 4-pin
Overall Review: Sometimes searching through hundreds of products is a tough task. Usually I search for 4-pin fans because I want PWM, but there are many listings which count Molex as 4-pin, which it technically is, but not as it pertains to actual connections to the fan. This is one of those listings. Don't make my mistake and accidentally think this is a PWM fan, it's not.
Advertised Specs Don't Match Reality
Pros: Cheap, black inside, rolled edges, decent finish.
Cons: Had to drill out the 3.5" drive cage to fit a 300mm GPU, ATX motherboards have problems. Really most suitable as a Micro-ATX case with small GPU, don't let the "specs" fool you.
Overall Review: ATX boards with angled SATA connectors will not work, as there is a raised lip of metal all along the back edge that blocks access. Too small to be a true ATX case unless very careful selections are made with foreknowledge. The 375mm GPU length spec is a joke, there is about 240mm without drilling out rivets and removing parts of the case.
Inexpensive, Performs as Advertised, Cheap Fan
Pros: - Inexpensive - Good Quality Innards, Mostly - Puts out its rated power
Cons: - Cheap Yate Loon fan died after one year
Overall Review: - If the price is right, get it, but only if you can keep an eye on the fan, and know how to replace it. It's the common 120mm size.
High Failure Rate
Pros: Quiet, decent air flow, PWM fan.
Cons: Two out of four fans failed within hours of installation, they just stopped spinning. Perhaps the only reason all four did not fail is that I returned them all, the last two went back unused.
Overall Review: The fans I received had some kind of serious defect, they became stiff and hard to turn, almost as if someone forgot to add oil before they were finished. If this gets fixed, they will be a good fan for the money. As it stands, they can't be recommended.
At Least They Finally Sent It
It took 4 business days just for Storite to create a shipping label. They never did respond to my emails, even when I involved Newegg. Finally did get my HDD, but I will not buy from Storite again. Nearly all other vendors understand the need for prompt shipping and good comunication, clearly Storite has work to do in these areas.
Green PC Didn't Deliver
Ordered a touch screen monitor, and 14 days went by with no product or communication of any kind. Thank goodness Newegg was able to get my money back for me, finally. Love Newegg, but dislike Green PC!
