Debug code for easy debugging solid PCIE slots all white components PCIE and m.2 easy install/uninstall
Performance outsurpasses a moderate gamers needs The GPU quick release is clutch if you like to swap parts quickly (note: see cons) Clean look, RGBs are a nice touch Plenty of 2.0 headers, RGB headers ASUS Bios is very easy to use
It's a pretty long motherboard and I was able to use the top pcie slot and bottom pcie slot. I like the ability to flash the bios using the back i/o and the good-performing networking. Had an issue trying to get the ram in sufficiently but did after some effort. I like the easy plug and unplug for gpu and the easily removed cover for the first m.2 slot.
It didnt come broken and worked right out of the box. It was part of my first ever Pc so it took some abuse and mistakes but it still functions perfectly. Very good.
Solid motherboard with exceptional build quality. Love the PCIe button release for giant GPUs. Makes getting them out a breeze. USB 4.0
Excellent I/O selection, including USB4 and front USB-C Clean white design, great for themed builds Robust VRM, handles high-end CPUs well EZ Flash made the BIOS update effortless Great number of ARGB and fan headers for customization. Didnt have to use my controller.
BIOS updates, Easy Install
Disclaimer: This review is for the ASRock review rebate program. that being said, my personal research and the reviews done by the pros all point to this board being the best out there. The non-lane sharing of the gpu alone makes this board unique among the competition. - Understated and beautiful design - WIFI 7 - PCIe Gen 5.0 - Five M.2 expansion slots (x1 Gen 5, x3 Gen 4, x1 Gen 3) - No lane sharing with primary GPU slot! - 8 layer PCB - Full heatsink coverage - 20+2+1 VRM design - PCIe EZ Release - x4 SATA3 - 5Gbps LAN - Bios Flashback Button
It's very easy to install everything into it, and it looks great, has a ton of memory slots, the GPU bracket has a lever that can be used to remove it. RGB lights at the bottom right of it.
- Postcode LED (seven-segment displays are cheap and useful, so I'm not sure why they are limited to the more expensive boards) - BIOS Flashback and Clear CMOS buttons on rear, Power and Reset buttons near the postcode (buttons are also cheap to buy and should be on more MOBOs. The Nova's power and reset buttons have a plastic housing and light up, which is neat) - 2x10+2+1 Power Phase Design (better than some higher priced boards from other brands) - Two USB4 ports (this is standard on x870e boards) - Bios GUI was easy to use and read, didn't take long to apply the EXPO profile - Nice Backplate Included hardware - Tall finned heatsink on PCIE 5 NVME slot (pad included top and bottom sides of NVME) - Fat shared heatsink for the PCIE 4 NVME slots (pad included on top side of NVME), the SSDs will get hot during use as expected - Single heatsink for the PCIE 3 NVME slot (pad included on top side of NVME) - 4 Serial ATA (SATA) Data Cables (two straight, two down-angled) - A one-to-three ARGB Splitter Cable - 3 thermistor Cables (can be used with their fan tuning software)
I purchased with no reviews on any of the B850 boards as a gamble. But I don't use alot of the same features as others for there mobo use cases. Easy to set memory overclock, wifi antenna works great. Router is 3 rooms away and I can pick up no problem and get 350mps on a 400mps plan. Definitely use it if your using a bluetooth controller, most people forget your antenna is half wifi, half wifi/bluetooth.
Smol footprint. Perfect for cube computer!
Replaced my gigabyte b650e for this and all my drivers faults and usb issues went away. Thank you asus for making quality products, and thank newegg for working with me even though 30 days had past.
This is a great board with plenty of ports for all your needs. The wifi on this board is alot better than expected.
3 nvme slots Good wireless Like UEFI bios, upgrading from circa 2010 lol
Plenty of USB ports. Driver package has many extra features.
