Bio very easy to use Beta updates work great Plenty of storage options between m.2 and sata Bios reset and m flash buttons on IO panel WiFi receiver is actually really good
Easy plug and play setup, & enough peripheral connector pins for my setup
I have been bldg machines since 1998 and now I use AsRock or MSI the Asrock has never disappointed me solid board and easy to work with
This motherboard has plenty of connections, including multiple RGB headers if you are into that, and at least 2 M.2 PCI slots, one with a heatsink and one without.
i came back to aorus as other brands had low memory capatibility issues constantly, the setup was the same as my old board being simple and quick
- Motherboard makes it extremely easy to uninstall and reinstall NVME SSDs - Plenty of onboard ports for numerous fans and RGB related devices - Overkill VRMs and asthethically pleasing board - Worked without issues
Works well, seems stable. Lots of adjustability for the 'bios' settings for adjusting power and frequency, etc.
1. The Biggest pro that I couldn't find with any other MOBO Manufacturer was the 2nd x16 slot runs at PCIE 4 x 4 from the chipset! This means that when using SSD's at PCIE x5 doesn't disable it! Read below to see why this is important. 2. It's a very well built and feature rich board! Save $200 from buying the HERO and get this! The HERO's extra PCIE x16 lane also is disabled when using SSD's. 3. ASUS Hit The Ball OUT of the Park on this one! Worth the Money 4. No issues with drivers and just use BIOS Flash Back USB when installing an X3D processor.
-Booted straight into BIOS on the first try -Stable while running RAM at advertised speeds with XMP profile, no tweaking required
- Dedicated PCIe 5.0x16 GPU slot - Sharing bandwidth with USB4 ports and M2_2 is an unique and excellent idea - Stable performance with various high speed memory kits (tested up to DDR5-6400 2x48GB)
It works great in combination with the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, 64 gb Kingston CL30 RAM, 4 TB Crucial T500 M.2 hard drive in the first slot above the GPU slot and topped off with an Asus TUF RTX 5080 graphics card. This system is amazing, and my in game from rates have increased 4 times from my prior system.
Affordable PCIE gen 5 support has two m.2 pcie lanes straight to the CPU Very good VRMs USB galore Looks pretty good like the easy gpu release button and tool less M.2 access
This is a good motherboard and works great! No issues with the 9800x3D and no need to update bios to work
-Everything I've tried has worked. -Rear M.2 is convenient to access (depending on your case) -Nice to have a dedicated temp sensor with a 1ft cable to put wherever you want, like taped to your rad for a rough coolant temp sensor. Can then set fan curves based on that.
Super high quality, has all the connections and features you would need. More m.2 storage then Ill ever need.

Works great.
- Plentiful fan headers located throughout the board enable good cable management - Two M.2 slots including a Gen 4 slot with a heat cover that one day will come in handy for storage expansion, standoffs for these slots were pre-installed which was a nice bonus - MSI BIOS very easy to navigate, posted with all components functional on first try, no issues - Looks very sleek, love the pre-installed IO Shield and touch of addressable RGB
Nice looking motherboard with decent features
The motherboard has everything a gamer want and with 256gb ram support in 2025, you're pretty much futureproofing your rig for what I see coming in the next 10 years. It comes with cables, cool box that opens like a treasure chest, a dual nvme SSD hotswap pcie with its own cooler! What else would you need?
