Using Lemonade Server for local AI tasks and it works very well. Using the AMD XRT PPA the NPU is supported, and there are plenty of community resources online (youtube, discord, github) to help get started doing stuff. It's fast enough and got plenty of memory for running 120B models or doing big vibe coding projects. Token generation between 35-50 tokens per second which isn't screaming fast but is quite usable. 1024x1024 Flux-2-Klein-4B runs in under 2 minutes with a 2048 token prompt. Highly power efficient. My regular ryzen workstation idles at 80W, 10x more than the 8W of this box. Good thermal management, it doesn't make a whole lot of noise in balanced mode even when doing sustained work.

This Nerd Octaxe easily hit 15.5/th no problem and stays under 60c fairly easily. When my room got in the 80s it warmed up to 65c which is not bad at all in my opinion. The VR heatsinks keep work great and run around 10c cooler than the board. It comes with a very nice power supply rated for 460w ready for stable over clocking right out of the box. Dont upgrade the firmware or youll get locked out of 15/th and get capped at 13.8/th.

I spent a fortune years ago building a giant Ryzen 5 PC with a huge case, fancy video card, huge power supply, and dozens of fans, then the power supply and video card finally blew. I replaced it with this unit, and couldn't be more pleased. Heine site is usually 20/20, this little thing preforms better than the monster did at a tenth of the price. Linux Mint setup was a picnic, this puppy is stronger than Granny's tonic for the money.

For the price, this is a steal. It's fast, has good graphics for basic gaming.

compact, good pricing, decent IO for the formfactor, can fit in 1U of space in Rack, powerful six-core CPU, you can add your own RAM and multiple drives that you already own, 2.5Gb LAN is a very nice to have! I've owned multiple of the older 4500u skew and all four of them have been rock solid since our purchase.

Very fast and quiet, easy to setup. Plugged in all peripherals everything works.

- able to fit both my 3050 and 3060, from MSI, along with my PNY A2000 in the case - easy to follow instructions with very clear pictures - incredible cooling - easy disassembly and assembly - 4 NVME slots - removable intake duct for the CPU cooler to allow for another PCIe card to be installed

Fast boot time, speedy internals. Runs proxmox with little to no hassle Handles most linux distros with ease. Small form factor and surprisingly modular, I was pleasantly supersized with the amount of onboard M.2 slots.

- AMD R7 processor with GPU built in - USB C ports are nice - Front and rear USB ports are handy

- Runs games and other CPU intensive programs really well - Fits 2x NVME M.2 drives even with - With the right case it fits a full size GPU (RTX 3090 Ti pictured) - Sips power due to being a mobile CPU especially at idle - Compact complete package without any CPU setup needed

Never buying a laptop again. EVER.
