Runs fusion 360 super well and that's with the CPU only I'm using the onboard graphics for everything. I don't even have a dedicated card.

Excellently priced, with a very high core clock. Excellent at blazing through 15-20 tabs, and as a pro it never gets HOT.

Only 65W and uses it well. Zippy performance at less heat! Typically running in the middle 40's C for me.

Idles VERY low on power consumption (single-digit wattage) yet has the power if you need it. For the price a reasonable level of performance.

No problem keeping the thermals in range with a quiet Noctua cooler.

At 4K, 100% GPU limited Low heat output compared to the 14900k, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE operates at low RPMs, CPU nowhere near thermal limits.

Luckily I like spending time tweaking my CPU. My benchmark scores and framerates really did not go up until I dialed in a good Core Offset, tuned the memory beyond EXPO's auto settings, turned off Core Isolation in Windows, downloaded Win 11 update KB5041587. I have not tried Win11 24H2 yet, and I am not running this with any version of Linux. Compared to my 7950x, I have way more throw with the Core offset. I can dial in a Core Offset beyond -25 with the 9950x, whereas my 7950x gets fussy when I try a CO beyond -5. The 9950x also doesn't run as hot.

I got a fast delivery, so I appreciate that. Once I got it into the new motherboard and installed w11 been smooth sailing from there. Paired with Rx 6800 XT it hits like 170 to 145 fps average in Far Cry 6 with no dips, where my 7700k was routinely dropping to below 60 while driving or flying. Temps are decent under load too!

Value, not much difference between the X version with pbo enabled.
