I purchased this fan to supplement others I have in mt Arizona home. We try keeping our home a comfortable 78-degrees, especially when the outside temps approach 110. We have ceiling fans and in most rooms we also have "tower" fans which we use whenever needed. This one fan pushes much more air than the tower fans while being quiet and a much wider area.

I've had three of these fans, currently two. This fan totally rocks; it has lots of power; it's quiet, starts quickly, is easy to carry! I want to say that the fan Does come apart for cleaning; one needs to take out the screws in the back and carefully remove the front grill. For full cleaning it can be taken apart completely, but is more work...
