Paid $50 over msrp so not too bad and coming from a 6600xt the performance boost has been insane at 1440p. I have it in an nr200, so it's not in a big case but the thermals have been outstanding so far and it's a very quiet gpu. I don't think I've seen it hit 70° once. The highest I've see the memory hit was 80°. Card overclocks and undervolts well if you're into that. I undervolted mine and it never goes over 187 watts with no noticeable performance loss. Bought three of these cards for ITX builds. ASRock X600 Deskmeet case with a 9600 processor. Everything went together quite easily even for a one handed person like myself.

Able to play anything so far with no problem. Silent. Hardly hear it.

Massive upgrade over my RTX 3080.

This card is a beast it beats the 5070 the 5070ti in most games it also beats the 5080 in some games and believe or not it beats the 5090 in a few games why would anyone want a nvidia card there prices are way to high AMD is Awesome, the best video card i ever had and i mostly bought nvidia but no more .when the Ai bubble busts nvidia will fall big time, they dont care about consumers anymore just Ai and the Almighty dollar. buY Amd you wont be disappointed.

Runs games I play at 1440p high/max settings 100fps+ ie (spacemarine 2, horizon FW, helldivers, some racing ) with no fsr or frame gen needed. Amazing performance for my needs. Upgraded from 1650 in my laptop! My first ever PC build completed with this card a couple weeks ago. 3/2025

The card is nice for a half height dual slot card. Dual HDMI connectors makes it easier to connect multiple monitors without having to use a converter from display port.

TLDR: I love it. I originally wanted an RTX 50 series card, but I don't think those actually exist (and they've had so many issues). I took a chance with the Asus TUF RX 9070 XT, and couldn't be happier. It plays all modern games well, and runs at incredibly low temps for a modern graphics card (50 to 55'C when the card is under 100% load). Longer story: I built a new PC in early January and budgeted for an RTX 5090, mostly for gaming. When those cards seemed impossible to get, I searched and searched for an RTX 5080, and couldn't get one of those, either (for over a month now). I really wanted to actually play games on my new gaming PC with a current-gen graphics card, so when AMD launched the 9070 XTs, I decided to try to get one. I managed to snag an Asus TUF RX 9070 XT on launch day on newegg. I'm very *very* happy with it, and after all the hassle trying of to get a non-existent Nvidia card (as well as reading about all of their hardware issues, etc) I'm actually quite pleased that it worked out this way. I saved quite a bit of $$, too, vs. an equivalent RTX 5070 Ti or 5080 card. The Asus TUF 9070 XT manages 60+FPS when playing "India Jones and The Great Circle" at 3840x1440 with all graphics settings maxed out, and does so without any frame gen or other upscaling trickery enabled. Both "Cyberpunk 2077" and "Black Myth: Wukong" look stunning and play very well with almost all graphics settings maxed out, too. Plus, this card runs COOL. Ambient temperature in my house is about 21'C, and this card never gets above 55'C while under full load with every game I've tried so far.

5080 (nice) No RGB (if you're into that) Small form factor (barely)

My current GPU started overheating and just turning off soooo. UPGRADE!!! Man it runs my games so much smoother! I wish I could have planned a purchase of this size into my budget but they have better financing options than my own credit card! Easy to install and uses significantly less connectors than to 7000 series I had. Would buy for my wife if she wanted an upgrade. Easy sell.

i wanted an affordable 8 gb vram card that would run on my stock psu and this fit the bill...the build quality seems excellent and the fans are very quiet and look well made and balanced ... 8 gb isn't going to move the world but it puts almost everything i'm interested in within reach
