Good for gaming quiet
Finally able to get this card at the announced msrp-thanx NewEgg and Asus single 8 pin power connector no 12 pin high power, triple fans runs very cool and quiet, dual bios, led light to notify if card is not getting proper power, proper metal backplate, 16gb ram, runs 1440p very well at mid to high and even max on some games well above 60fps probably would crush 1080p. dlss frame gen all the bells and whistles. Has a very well-built feel to it-doesn't feel cheap at all.
2 slot card not too big or heavy
GPU Size options from gigabyte continue to serve the sff community Large fans with full pass through cooling on second fan Small PCB makes ultra sff mod community sperg 16gb ddr7 Fits great in my 5L daily driver (skyreach 4 mini)
Quiet, looks amazing, the lights on the fans look amazing in person and videos dont do them justice. Overclocked mine averages around 40000 score in port Royal and 15250 in steel nomad.
Faster (AND cooler) than my 3080. Uses a LOT less power too (obviously).
Quite, coil whine is non existent LED is stunning to look at Design itself is 10/10 for white builds
No reason to consider Alibaba used up 5080s, you can get the real deal for 1k! I was considering a 4080 Super when I found out the 5080 is actually better despite its AI heavy focus. See modern GPUs can "invent" frames if your game is laggy, which is an oddity because that just means you need a stronger card. If you're doing rendering for 3D projects you need CUDA Cores and VRAM and this baby is loaded with 16 gbs of VRAM and is currently like the 3rd best GPU period. Considering the 5090 is like 2 times the price of the 5080 and finding it at MSRP is probably a myth. This is quite literally the best bang for the buck.
In my opinion, the Zotac Amp Extreme Infinity is the best looking 5080 you can buy. As a former loyal EVGA buyer I needed to find a new brand. I bought the Zotac 5080 for its appearance, but it has performed flawlessly. I'm very pleased with this excellent product!
1. Simplistic design allows this GPU to fit into smaller cases. 3. Amazing power, FSR 4 is fantastic. 4. Stays exceptionally cool during heavy load. 5. If you can find it for MSRP, unbeatable price for performance.
Very good thermals out of the box does not reach 60C stays between 50-55C. Very good overcloking potential, can easily do 3200Mhz and and 1000Mhz on the memories for more stability. Temps stay around 60C even over clocked.
Fast, no rgb, streamlined
It's exactly what it's supposed to be and was brand new in box. Shipping was on the longer end, but still within normal time.
-really clean and beautiful design for an all white build -solid performance for AAA games like COD, GTA, etc -in COD it ran between 140-180 fps but with DLSS activated it stays consistent between 210-250 fps with high settings. -i didnt know it was the overclocked edition so thats a boost and a plus -surprisingly quiet
-Low temps -Great looking card -Great OC potential 300 core 2000 memory. It could go higher, too.
Fast, quiet and cool.
- **16 GB VRAM** - Standard 8 pin power. - Ran simple OC scan, clocked up to 2900 MHz plus a small memory OC. - Cool ~60 C at sustained load. - Very, very quiet. Even under sustained 100% load gaming. - Raster performance is solid for 1080p widescreen (21:9) gaming, see below. - Small things, but has a dual bios. And the little bit of RGB on it can either shine through the Gigabyte logo, or the logo can be slid to the side to give bare light.
The vapor chamber cooler can soak up a ton of heat before fans ever need to ramp up. Most of my games have never needed the fan to run beyond the minimum speed, 1200 rpm. When you manually enable the fans, it'll drop to 2C above room temperature, like 28C. Just insane. Meanwhile, I'll open YouTube and my Ryzen CPU will randomly spike to 66C, it's a comical difference between the two. No regrets spending a little more money just to see those super low temperatures while 4K gaming on ultra, at least when I purchased the card the premium for the vanguard model wasn't much more than the other 5070. Very similar feeling to splurging on a premium heatsink for a CPU, just to see those low low temperatures.
- Quiet - Good for the price
