sound good. fairly neutral to warm. need to get the mic in close but once you do it's actually a decent sounding mic for the price. comfy, sorta memory foam type padding. have spent an hour plus wearing comfortably ,but who knows beyond that.

Nothing but good coming from THIS review! Connects via USB, so it's very easy to simply plug-and-play.Sturdy cables mean they can take an accidental chair rollover and not take too much damage. easy to use volume controls that actually clip on! Last headset I had didn't do that, so I'm kind of excited that I have the option of clipping the volume buttons to my shirt and not losing them. When the day is winding down, I can disconnect the 3.5mm jack from the volume controls and connect it to my phone/tablet and chill out in my bed or in the living room! the 7.1 option is pretty neat, but I am perfectly fine with the standard 5.1. On some things, 7.1 can really sound great, but it might add a little too much "Echo" in the song or game. But nothing too bad. Overall, this is a very comfy headset that hits the highs/lows needed to either hear the enemy's footsteps or to blast bass in your face. It has the highs to catch the sounds of the entire orchestra, the lows to catch the sounds of a tank blowing things up, and the mids to hear your friends/family clean, crisp, and precise. Microphone is no joke, either! You can detach totally if you want to be unsocial, and simply attach it back easily! My friends can hear me like I was right next to them. All good things

I've been using these headphones for about 2 weeks and they're working exactly as I'd hoped. My friends report my mic is working perfectly, which was my biggest concern. I haven't had a chance to use the software and controls, but they look like they could be useful. Switching back and forth between speakers and headphones is easy: just plug in the headphones to a USB port and all sounds go through them. Unplug them and everything is back to speakers.
