In Gaming Monitor

I ordered this monitor and plug and play it is 60hz. It is not the monitors fault though you need to change a display setting in windows to 240hz. I do not know why windows does not prompt you because it certainly recognized it. I have a attached a screen shot to help further.

The MAG 27 is a good monitor. The resolution and refresh rate for the price make it one of the cheaper options on the market, but I think it's also one of the better ones. The white levels are solid, and it covers the sRGB color space almost completely. I use it for photo editing, and my pictures are better than they were with my old Acer monitor, so I'm happy.

I wanted a gaming monitor with at least 2k but also one for work that has PBP option and this one fit the bill. It's a 21:9 aspect ratio which is great for work but took a few hours to get used to while gaming but I really love it now for games. The curve is great, I have not noticed any ghosting in fps games or any games at all and this monitor is so much more responsive while gaming than my last one. The brightness, contrast, gaming options via the toggle on the underside of the monitor is pretty intuitive and easy to use, no complaints there. No crosshairs for gaming if that's what you're looking for, but I don't use them so no biggie.

I'd say it's worth 4 to 4.5 eggs. Why newegg locked in my rating before I finished the review is beyond me. Great picture, decent build quality and the GPU sync was easy to set. This monitor is HUGE, especially for anyone coming from using a laptop for everything at home.

Great Price, exceptional price. Why doesn't Best Buy have any 4K monitors on display? Get them here on Newegg. The 28" version is often available for $200 I nailed this for $180 thinking it was the 28" version...but during Florida's no sales tax season, awesome! So here's the detailz.. I have a 4 monitor setup, I bought 2 more and THIS ASUS is the Top Center Middle of the setup...if anybody has done this, a 1" smaller screen fits PERFECTLY!

great refresh rate and size, overall an amazing monitor for such a price

I came from a 1080p curved monitor and found some games or videos to be grainy at times. This monitor blows it out of the water! Setup was easy and pretty much plug and play, I had to tweak the default display settings then I got my proper refresh rate and color matching I needed.

180 Hz 1080p gaming at 100$. Takes 3 minutes to install 5 screws and plug the thing into the wall. Great overall value for a child or an upgrade from 60Hz television gaming. Comes with a display port.

Great image quality Great colors Extremely smooth gameplay

-Deep blacks! I wouldn't even know it is on at times when no apps are open if the power light wasn't lit. My desktop background is set to black, and the task bar is set to auto-hide. That's quite a contrast to my IPS monitor. -Excellent color range. I use a basic sRGB mode instead of the other menu presets so that it more or less matches my ASUS Proart display (dual monitor setup). I value color accuracy over other possible settings. -Very stable monitor stand. This monitor seems well designed and built.
