Theyve easily stood the test of time and continue to be amazing headphones for basically any application. Ive personally used the DT990 Pros for the better part of a year now, and just recently grabbed a pair of DT770 Pros. The sound staging for music is incredible and the experience of a gaming headset doesnt even compare. I have them both paired with a SoundblasterX G6 gaming dac that works great for both music and gaming if you really want to crank up the bass or change audio profile for gaming. The headphones are also super comfy to wear and make long gaming sessions (6 hours+) sweat and headache free. The ear pads and headband are easily replaceable if they ever wear out or the foam gets too thin. I would easily recommend both the 990 and 770 model to anybody wanting to get into music listening, mixing, or just wanting to up their gaming experience.

Comfortable, sound quality is pretty good, and very durable. I've been tossing these on my wooden desk for over a year now and they still look like new. Cheaper now than when I bought them, tempted to buy another pair just for kicks. Also, the cord is nice and long; just use the twist tie that comes in the box to shorten it if you need to.

The range is crazy long. I've left my phone in my office and ventured quite a ways down the hallway with no issues. It's comfortable. Worn it for >8 hours with no sweating or fatigue. ANC works excellently in most environments! Can barely hear a thing that isn't my music. No traffic, no buzzing. Nothing

The sound is great. I prefer them to $200 Apple AirPods.

All my production equipment for the most part is Sony and the MDR-7506 is proof of why this is the case. Great spread of sound. The dynamic headphones are lightweight and project a strong balanced sound. They also came in a fun gift box that only proves how Sony goes above and beyond to make a product us users not only want or need but love.
