I bought this in a bundle with 32 gb of DDR4 in order to upgrade my current i5 7600k. Install went well, and everything is running great. The price was right to update to windows 11 on the cheap and leave some room for a future cpu/gpu upgrade.
Pros are the blue tooth and wireless built in. They board also allows flexibility in storge types
As a longtime fan of MSI, I may be a little biased but this board has everything you need and maybe even more than you need. I went from a 2012 PC to a 2025 PC and all my old things transferred easily and worked fine, except the old CPU and memory (of course). Very stable, with LED bios codes and secondary redundant diagnoses color LED. Surprisingly well equipped for the price. Easy bios upgrades as well.
The company who builds my PC's are very good. They had nothing but issues with the mother board and cpu. Newegg were nothing but great and made things so much easier. I know have a great PC and will be sure to pass along the highest recommendation to everyone I know in the industry.
Lots of features like thunderbolt and wifi 7 Paired with my Intel 285k and 8000mhz ram using Intel 200k update beats x3d amd Cpus Lots of space for nvmes
As usual, at least in my experience, ASUS products have been solid performers. I use ASUS motherboards in all my computer builds, never had one mal-function.
-Looks great through the case -plenty of SSD storage -The Wi-Fi antennae is sturdy and has a magnetic base- NICE!
Simple setup, worked and updated itself on first power up zero issues thus far. Massive heat sinks everywhere running benchmarks so far everything has been optimal. Nothing over 70c at 100% on processor, board, or video card. Wish I had known before hand they had heat sinks installed on the M.2 sockets for M1 M3 and M4. Wouldnt have had to buy memory with heat sinks. This is more positive than negative hence the pros column.
- easy to set up lots of space
- Perfect Productivity MoBo - 4 Simultaneous Displays supported! 2 DP, 1 HDMI, 1 VGA - More I/O than I can use - Great price
- everything is labeled
PCI-E 5.0 and just glad it worked as intended as other manufacturer's don't seem to uphold quality well.
1) Looks great 2) Support service is amazing. Call them 3 times, 1-3 minutes waiting time only. 3) If I won't have an issue by the next few months with this motherboard my next one will be AsRock also.
Great high end mobo for bleeding edge components (when purchased). Combined with a Core 7 265k, 48gb of UDIMM memory and an RTX 5080 it has been rock solid as a gaming machine.
-It looks surprisingly nice for it's minimalistic design and feels quite sturdy to the touch -The VRM heatsinks and 16+1+2 power stage design are also quite robust for a mid-range board -The BIOS is fairly standard, but easy to navigate and well laid out -It also has decent storage options for 4 total M.2 drives -Gigabyte Control Center software has options for installing drivers and updates as well as some nice options for RGB effects and fan speeds
Very heavy and solid they use a lot of metal. ATX Board, Supports socket 1851 for my intel core 9 285. Easy latch for m2 sticks, release button for PCI video Card. Debug display for troubleshooting. Z890 Chipset, reinforced pci slot, Wi-Fi 7, 10 GB Lan, dual channel DDR 5 memory with 4 slots. Support for gen 5 m2. PCI 4 and PCI 3 available for expansion. Easy build for me. Best motherboard I have had to date.
- Easy to install everything - The manual was helpful in understanding the board layout and wiring hookups - Plenty of room for installed parts (graphic card, radiator and cpu hub, ram, and 14th generation Intel CPU
Specs speak for themselves Good amount of USB ports Easy to setup NVMe 2 heatsinks are easy to use, nice latch setup Decent ARGB controls Stylish white board ARGB MSI dragon
M.2 slot lga 1700 everything is great even has a c port slot which is nice idk what I would use it for
very easy to install, be careful installing cpu, line up corner marks.
