I've experimented with many laptop coolers. I started with the X-Series at the X2, which was a wonderful cooler and worked well for me. I wanted something that pushed more air though... So I picked up an X3 which did the trick, but it was too bulky to move around. Here's the list of pros: -Pushes more air than the X3 at optimal -Very mobile -Great cable management, No separate cables to get lost/mixed up. -Very comfortable on the lap, and still pulls air from the sides. -Solid construction -You can /feel/ the difference in the temperatures when it's running. -Silent running It keeps my laptop cool when gaming and with heavy video editing, which is why I picked it up.
Totally solid despite my initial misgivings during assembly. It sits at a perfect angle for my wrists.
Its like its not even there, its silent, light, and effective
It does the job, better than anything else short of a leaf blower.
The size was just right, a bit big for my laptop but works great.
