Worked with Rog Strix G16. Charges laptop and displayed on dual monitor set-up. Uses USB-C to connect to laptop making barrel port unnecessary. Small metal box construction is nice.

Greatly boosts the performance of my handheld using it's thunderbolt 4 connection with the dock.

I am a Windows user but recently had to take up support for Apple MacBook's. I use three monitors to do my work\support and my new MacBook would not let me use the three monitors, just the MacBook screen and one external monitor. I tried just about everything and nothing worked. Someone told me about this Wavlink docking station, so I tried it and WOW, I was able to use all three monitors with little effort to get the dock to work with my MacBook and it also works with my Window's laptop, so now all I do is unplug one machine and plug in the other and I just get to work!! What a great dock, highly recommend!!

Works great, fast transfer speeds. A variety of ports. Nice thin design

Works great. Had to download a driver though. Was really impressed by them sending me a replacement when the one I had purchased for my daughter for Christmas was stolen in the mail... envelope cut and no item delivered. No hassle at all just requested replacement answered their questions and received the dock 5 days or so later. This was during the week between Christmas and new year. A lot of companies would have balked or taken their time. Great job!!

I no longer use desktops these days. I have three (3) laptops at home and at work I also have a laptop. Although laptops are convenient due to their portability, I would need a laptop docking station to have more connections and also to ensure my connected devices are having enough power. This universal docking station USB type C by wavlink appears to meet my needs plus additional connection for display and Gigabit Ethernet and more. So I bought it from wavlink/newegg. The item arrived quickly in 4 days in a nice shrink wrapped retail box. The content include a docking station that is solid and nicely designed, 2 USB cables (A to C and C to C), a Quick Installation Guide, 1 software installation CD, and 20V power adaptor. The docking station has 6 USB 3.0 ports that are plenty for connecting a few external portable hard drives and flash drives for storage of my important data and for scheduled back up of data. I 2 external hard drives and 2 flash drives to the docking station connecting to my laptop and the devices are recognized and work seamlessly. I set up the 2 HDMI ports for dual screen setup and it works beautifully. There are also 2 display ports that support up to 5K monitors. I have not used them at this time but 2 DP ports are really nice. For my HP laptop at work, the OEM docking station only has 1 DP and 1 HDMI. The 1000BASE-T Ethernet works as expected as it is a standard for laptop docking station. I connected the audio out to the speakers and the microphone in to the microphone and voila` I have a complete system for multi-tasking and productivity. Even OEM docking station cannot match all connections this device provides and often OEM would cost more. I really like this docking station and would recommend it.

- Works with no problems every time. - Great product for the price, less than half of similar products. - No additional programs for setup.

* So easy. Just slide drives into slots and power on. No tools. * Open case means passively cooled. * Handled my old NAS SATA drives without a hitch. 3 x 1 TB Samsung, 1 x 2 TB Samsung, 1 x 500 GB Seagate. * hdparm (free linux tool) spins down the drives on idle timer.

- It's way cheaper than known brands. - I was able to run a triple display setup with this docking station without any installation, and it supports 4K resolutions. - I also like the docking station's 85W charging port, SD and TF card readers, Gigabit Ethernet, four USB ports, and audio support, which are great for removing clutter.

I like its design most. Unlike other docking station, I was attracted by how it looks, and it does not disappoint me. There are a lot of ports. It has two USB-C ports and two USB 3.0 ports on the front. On the back, there are DP, HDMI, USB 3.0 and Ether ports. It can also charge the laptop with the USB-C port. It is slim. Speed is really fast. It comes with 2 good quality USB-C cables.

Works as advertised. The little slot in the top of enclosure makes it easy to securely insert the drive. I used it to clone a SATA SSD to a PCIe drive using Samsung's Data Migration app and it went off without a hitch.

Good quality, when you touch it, and see the red ventilation from the backside, you know you got a good quality thunderbolt dock; Full speed on my M1 MacBook air. when I check system information, it has the 40Gbs speed in the connected state; Dedicated charging adapter, I don't have a buy another charger like those typical USB-C dock; It can give more than 60Hz refresh rate on your monitor. I have a LG, and with DisplayPort, I can get 100Hz refresh rate from this dock

had access to everything i plugged in. no heat problems, no hiccups!
