Its made to fit 15.6" screen. Easy to apply and has a glossy on one side and matte on the other. Glossy had a much superior image than matte imo. The filter works as advertised. You have to be within like a 2 foot radius of the screen to see it from the side, but if you are in front of it, the picture is clear. I could see that someone sitting directly behind you can see your screen. You apply it to the screen by putting plastic strips and pieces to the side of your laptop monitor where the screen meets the border. One half of the strip has glue and you apply it to the border with the other half of the strip hanging over your screen to hold the privacy filter in place. Put 4-6 depending on what you like on your border, then slip the filter in. (I put some on the top border so that the filter wouldn't slip out on accident.) I do not notice the clear plastic on my laptop because my laptop is black, but if you were to have a light color i would assume it would stand out.
