It recognized my 9800x3d right out of the box. It runs my pair of DDR5 6000 ram on EXPO settings with no issue. The built-in WIFI is stellar as compared to a USB wifi adapter I was using on my old rig. It connects to my wireless network waking up from sleep before I can even pull up the start bar to check.

Overall the board seems very good. Good heat sinks on nvme m.2 slots. Larger sinks are put on the gen 5 slot also. Lots of headers for fans, rgb, usb, and sata. Usb 4 ports on back are nice for a touch screen monitor using one usb-c cable, and seem fast for external nvme drives. There is also a 30 watt usb-c port which is handy. All the external ports are 10gbps, except both the usb 4 ports are 40gbps, and the ethernet port is 5g. The wifi 7 works great as does the Bluetooth also.

Good looking Good amount of pcie slots

Went from MSI Z690 Pro to this MSI B850 and windows loaded right up. Did not have to do a clean install. I had the Windows USB boot drive installed and instead of asking me for a clean installed, it somehow downloaded what was needed and booted. Remember to have the internet connect through cable. Only problem I had was with Windows recognizing my key but Windows support helped me getting Windows acivated. All good now

I will be using this board for a new build I have heard some nice things about the X870E-P. I like the PCIE lanes for M.2's very nice and a lot of fan headers that is very good to have. Seems like a top end board I will be very happy I do believe so!

A little cliché but all the options provided are what I consider to be Pros. of note for me was the RAM capability and SATA features.

The price point is great, the chipset doesn't leave anything more to be desired from say a x570 board. I wanted something simple, reliable, and port friendly.

4 M.2 slots, with a nice tool-less mounting system looks very nice in my HYTE Y60 case some RGB, but not overdone this is the heaviest motherboard I've ever built with! it's got a nice 9800X3D on it :) was able to flash BIOS without components installed (just to be safe with my new 9800X3D)

Performance and Reliability Build Quality Ease of Installation

So easy to work with and set up. Started right up, took me to the BIOS so I could use the EXPO settings with one click. Works perfectly, unlike the last two motherboards I bought from a different (well-known) manufacturer... Consequently, I have now become a fan of Gigabyte, and will use their boards in future builds, without question!

Has everything that I needed for this build.

I like that it has enough Fan and Fanopt headers to run an AIO (Im using a fan hub to run the rest of my case fans). I like that it has two NVME slots. and it looks cool.

Great Looking. Good Valve. Excellent Quality. Nice Touches to Aid Building.

Very compact, with high quality io and pcie Great matx board

Easy setup, no issues and simple software via Armoury. Matched with a 270K Plus and DDR5 7200 it screems. WiFi 7 is very stable.

This no frills Asus Strix MB installed cleanly and loading Windows 11 was a joy using a "Rufus" bootable flash drive. I was even able to re-use an old Windows 10 license key from my work Microsoft ActionPack. I'm elated I built this pc as early as I did....prices of DDR5 ram have tripled in price....ouch! This is my first AIO enabled pc and the absence of fan noise is amazingly welcome.
