Item as advertised and short delivery time, price was much cheaper than alternative sources.

Packaging and PSU was really solid, and works really well. No voltage spikes and seems pretty solid overall.

The Corsair HX1000i is an excellent power supply for any new build, in fact, the 1000 watts of power it provides is likely well beyond what even the most demanding gaming rigs should require. The 80+ Platinum efficiency rating is also a top notch rating, and is what attracted me to this power supply. These efficiency differences can seem small, but can really add up over time, especially if youre leaving the computer running frequently. The power supply is fully modular, making cable management simpler since you dont need to connect the power cables you do not need, and you dont have a big wad of cables coming out of the power supply together. This power supply is fully modular for every connector, including the motherboard and CPU connectors, not just the component connectors. The power supply is very generous with connectors, as is to be expected from a unit with such a high wattage. The 6 PCI express connectors it offers is a good indication that this PSU can handle even multiple graphics card workloads. Its also generous with SATA connectors and traditional molex connectors, it offered many more connections than I needed for my build, and thanks to the modularity, I was able to not plug in the cables I didnt need. The fan only engages when absolutely necessary for cooling the unit, so it can operate silently in a majority of conditions. In my build, it basically hasnt engaged at all. Im not going to be pushing this unit to its limit.

Works Great

A+ in psu tier list

It turned on, and is still working The cables it came with weren't bad compared to the last PSU I bought Feels high quality, looks high quality

I reached out to newegg told them the problem and without any hassle besides shipping it. I returned the dead new one and got a replacement in the mail a few days later!! Beautiful customer service thank you new egg.

Pros: Connections were clearly marked and logically organized. All the screws and cables were in the box. Cables were long enough for my mid-tower build. Runs quiet and has gold efficiency.

"This review for ASRock review rebate program." Excels well at handling new GPU cards

- Unbeatable price with ongoing promotions for the features you get from a big brand like this - Plenty of included cables, which I hear is not always the case with PSUs - Cables were easily long enough for my uses - Sturdy main unit build - Simple to install - Packaging is simple and straightforward while still protecting the components - This is most likely only a personal problem I had, but my previous PSU's power cable (from a different brand) had wiggle room inside its port at the back of the unit, which could lead to it disconnecting. This one sits firmly in there so that's a lot more reassuring

Standard ATX form factor. Quiet operation. Voltages are right where they should be. Fully modular. All the connections you need for a modern motherboard including those with dual CPU power connectors and multiple PCIe options. Component quality. Price.

Installation was easy. It's been dead silent.

The RM1200x SHIFT power supply has a few new features worthy of note and make it stand out from the crowd. For me, the biggest innovation is the 'Shift' in the modular power supply cables. The Shift power supply models have moved the face where the modular power cables connect by 90 degrees and gives certain cases more room and easier access to the cables. Admittedly, moving the power cables around 90 degrees isn't all that exciting, but come on, it's a power supply. Other perks are: - 1200W of power, all of which is available on the 12v rail if you need a dedicated power supply for GPUs or other 12v components (thinking mining rigs or parallel compute use cases). - 10 year warranty, it's built to last. - Modular cables (type 5 for the RM1200x Shift) use smaller connectors at the powers supply that the previous type 4 (see image) - AC and modular power cables are all sturdy and rated for the heavy loads. - Includes and supports a PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR cable. - All cables are modular, makes installation a little easier. - Zero fan is nice as the fan only runs as needed. Many like it for noise, to me it means less dust to accumulate on filters. - Metal enclosure is powder coated and has no sharp edges. - Black and gray color scheme fits my color scheme, sorry to those with white cases.

-No issue seen when first and after installing it -Powers my Power Color Reaper 9070xt fine -Rated 80Gold -Fairly Priced

2 years ago I bought a pre-built gaming computer with a RTX 3060. From the start it crashed during heavy game play. I replaced a few parts and even sent the GPU back for a replacement. Nothing fixed it and I just assumed that crashing once or twice a day was normal. Ever since upgrading with this power supply about a month ago, I've had zero crashes.

Great product wired as intended .

Modular cables were easy to add and it's also extremely quiet.
