Well built, powerful. Dual fan setup.
Quiet (compared with other supermicro PSUs) Very effecient (92-94%) Cheap (for a 920w super high effecient specialized rackmount chasis its pretty cheap)
Was a quick install, plug in while machine running (hot-swap), connect power and away it goes!
I'm using this ps to power a custom built sff desktop. It's nice and slim, with more than enough juice to power an overclocked i7-2600k. One great feature of the ps is the P4 cpu power plug. There is a single 4 pin connector plus the two combining 8 pin plug, so that's three plugs total. All cables were long enough to reach to where they were needed.
quiet powers i7, 8g 1600 RAM On-board video hd3000 I clocked this thing well over in an extremely small case, fan only wound all the way up a couple of times.....then quieted back down.
This is a good power supply that is fulfilling my needs nicely. Lots of cable ends means lots of power options, including extended CPU power and fan cables.
Seems to work, it's quiet.
Plugged this into an ASUS M5A99X EVO AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz I'd label this as 20 + 3 x 4pin + 8 pin EATX, hard to stuff all the wires into the 1u case.
Replacement of power supply is a 4 year old 1U rack computer. Work as expected. Brought from Newegg because of the super fast deliver. Going OEM can be an option, but will take much longer for delivery.
