Well built, powerful. Dual fan setup.
Quiet (compared with other supermicro PSUs) Very effecient (92-94%) Cheap (for a 920w super high effecient specialized rackmount chasis its pretty cheap)
Much quieter than the 900w supplies in my 846 case and more energy efficient
I'm using this ps to power a custom built sff desktop. It's nice and slim, with more than enough juice to power an overclocked i7-2600k. One great feature of the ps is the P4 cpu power plug. There is a single 4 pin connector plus the two combining 8 pin plug, so that's three plugs total. All cables were long enough to reach to where they were needed.
quiet powers i7, 8g 1600 RAM On-board video hd3000 I clocked this thing well over in an extremely small case, fan only wound all the way up a couple of times.....then quieted back down.
Replacement of power supply is a 4 year old 1U rack computer. Work as expected. Brought from Newegg because of the super fast deliver. Going OEM can be an option, but will take much longer for delivery.
Great power supply for a 1u case. Fits easily, very little noise compared to other server power supplies. Minimal power for my board, 2 ssd's running in 1u case 30 watts of power consumption. I could literally run this server on a cheap solar panel. LOL
This is a good power supply that is fulfilling my needs nicely. Lots of cable ends means lots of power options, including extended CPU power and fan cables.
This PSU is good and cheap compared to alternatives, works fine.
Plugged this into an ASUS M5A99X EVO AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz I'd label this as 20 + 3 x 4pin + 8 pin EATX, hard to stuff all the wires into the 1u case.
This is a decent little power supply. It is very sturdy and well built which gives the impression it'll last a long time. It isn't clear from the specifications, but it does have two 8 pin CPU power connectors which some server motherboards require. It also has plenty of other connectors for drives and peripherals.
So far, a very nice surprise in a high wattage PSU from an unfamiliar company. I searched a long time to find a PSU with a high amperage rating on the 12V rail for my SLI system. This PSU allows you to bridge or unbridge the 12V rails into a 1 or 2 rail system. IMHO, the noise is unobjectionable. You can push a button to set the fans to high or low speed - at high speed, a blue LED lights up. Even at high speed I can barely hear the fan. I needed a high wattage PSU that would fit the dimensions of my Lian-Li PC777b case, which mounts the PSU at the bottom, and this was the best option I could find. The other leading 850 Watt PSU didn't fit my case. The leads are long enough to actually reach everything I needed without extensions, and there is a plethora of Molex, SATA, and fan connections. The unit is very heavy, which indicates good heat sinks to me, and the finish is attractive. ESP12V compliant - has 8 pin and 24 pin MB power hookups.
