Very loud, adds definition to sound, I notice cymbals and drum clarity specifically. Install easy into pci e, decent software. Don't sleep on the sound blaster, wish I woulda know sooner. Buy one, you need it for sure.
For years I had gotten away from addon soundcards as onboard sound had been getting better and better. I have a Yamaha sub woofer and Bose speakers and I had been noticing with each newer build I was less and less happy with sound on my desktop system. Weak thin sound finally got to me so I bought this card and was reminded why I bought my sub woofer and speakers, the sound is so rich and full, better than I ever remember it sounding! Bas that can peel wallpaper off walls and rich full sound makes you feel you are right there at a concert hall!
This is a very nice sound card. Everything is crystal clear, and it does exactly what you would expect.
Punchy sound, latency free triggering for Addictive Drums 2
For me it is better than a dac. Out of sight and sounds just as good to my ears.
I wasn't it expecting it be this good, the sound quality is really amazing
I brought this because my mother board sound card was dying and was unable to install an internal card due to my graphics card being mounted vertically in my case preventing access to the card slots. This little device was easy to connect and use having noticeably better sound quality than the original mother board audio before it developed issues.
- Quick and easy driver software installation. - Driver software includes extras for bass-boosting and other enhancements like an equalizer. - Quality is good. Games such as Halo Reach sound as expected with this sound card.
Easy to install and hook up
-Works out-of-the-box on Windows and PS4 -Works with any 3.5mm jack device -Sounds better than my on-board sound card
nice card for the price easy install would buy again recommend to others
Got this because it's compatible with Windows 98 Upon boot, Win 98 detected it, it installed a PCE-E to PCI bridge chip driver. I had to install the driver manually after, but that's just Windows 98 being bad.
I looked at the X-Fi for my newest build, but went against it in the end and I am glad I did. Great card, great sound, great drivers. Everything is great!
Easy install
