It was really simple to set up. Just plug in the USB cable. The sound is reasonable for a really cheap set of speakers.

They were easy to install, plenty of cord for my desk setup and easy to adjust. Decent sound for their size and price.

The Z906 is not a rock star like the Z-5500 was because the subwoofer is a big downgrade but it is better for computers and gaming and probably more durable. I got mine under a warranty on the Z-5500 (rip) and missed the subwoofer badly for music until I got a BIC Acoustec PL-200 subwoofer with a Onkyo TX-NR808 a/v upconverter. The Onkyo has nice Z-5500 satellites and the PL-200 makes up for the subwoofer void nicely. I use my 32" LG LH40 with 5.1 as a second computer screen or tv with the Onkyo. The Z906 uses two Monster THX certified fiber optic cables hooked up to the LG's optical pass thru and the computer. Hooked up this way the Z906 is great for gaming and adds nicely to the Onkyo 7.1 THX Select 2 certified sound. I really love the 7.1 and 5.1 playing my music dvds simultaneously. The Z906 really adds to the sound quality. The Z906 has a rich smooth sound and the satellites are better than the Z-5500s and seem to have a slightly higher volume capacity.

The sounds comming out of the speakers,Is natural,Rite out of the box they sound excellent,you can adjust them,But I find very Little need to.Gameing,Movies, sound rite. I love em..

The sound quality is really good and can fill the room. The numerous inputs have been important, Bluetooth nice if I want to use my phone, but primary purpose is computer speaker and the USB-C delivers both an analog output device and a S/PDIF output so no bluetooth lag/delay (other speakers I tried had over half second lag)

Was looking to buy the Bose Companion 3 or 5 system. I'm glad I went with this option. Sound is amazing. Clear as can be. Very powerful. Base is amazing. The speakers on my desk are superb looking. Has rubber feet to keep it in place. Really this system is TOP of the line for a VERY affordable price. You CANNOT go wrong on this setup. Impossible to find anything negative to say.

Non-standard design is appreciated, does not look line any other speakers

These are great little desk top monitors. Audio is very clear, price is right, aesthetics are modern. These work perfect for conference calls and the occasional internet video. They include inputs and outputs to integrate with your portable audio device and headphones while remaining connected to your primary computer. Bass is not present really, but the speakers don't buzz at all. These speakers are not meant for bass.

These speakers have a great sound for the price. I listened to these at a local retail store, and was impressed. The bass is strong, while the high frequencies are clear and crisp. The volume level that you can get is surprisingly high. I use these as computer speakers, but they could also be used in a home theater setup.
