I purchased this after I realized that my LG 4K monitor had neither a mic nor a camera. I do my work on that monitor. After reviews, I chose the Logitech BRIO. Simple hookup to the USB-c on the monitor and everything worked. Important to download the software then select from options. This little guy is way better than an internal camera on monitors and way better than expected. Love the rotating lens cover to avoid camera hackers. Good choice.

As this is the "old" model it was less expensive (~half) of the newest model. Reviews I read said there was little difference in the quality for a typical video call which is what I got it for. While I don't have a new one to compare against, I can't image it could be significantly better for video calls. I have not used it in other ways so I have nothing to additional to report.

Getting this webcam is a real treat. After updating the firmware using the Logitech Tune software, I was able to use the full potential of the quality with 60 frames on 1080p. Highly recommend this webcam!
