4TB and it stays Cool, Mine is running 28C under load. The drive is reliable, quiet and fast. All these things make it a great hard drive, My only problem with it is, Now I want 5 more of them! other than powering the device down to test it in different enclosures and situations, this drive has been on 24/7 and in use as the main storage drive in my file & web server. This drive passed Every test I could throw at it with flying colors, HD Tune shows perfect health amazing speed and no errors. It also has all the stuff most drives have, SMART, Upgradable firmware, power management, ect. This really is the drive for a home server or even a small to medium size biz server. I am very Impressed!

I only use enterprise disks seagate to make sure data are safe em RAID

No probleme for the os to detect it. No corruption or anything else. Perfect for backup because of it's speed and space
